Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles is a brand new game in the Resident Evil franchise, with familiar locales from the entire series. This action/shooter hybrid reveals the back story behind the fall of the Umbrella Corporation by exploring locations from Resident Evil 0, 1, 2 and 3 as well as new never-before-seen locations, such as Umbrella's stronghold. Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles combines first-person, light-gun style combat with interactive pathways, multiple weapons and new enemies to create an entirely new Resident Evil experience that could only be delivered on the Wii.

Great game at a great price Attention all resident fans. If you have a Wii, THIS is the game to get. Sure it may not be old classic RE gameplay. But dun let the idea of an on-rail shooter put you off. There is incredible replay value and the graphics are really good for a Wii game. I've spent countless hours trying to get all the umbrella files and aiming for S rank on all difficulties. The game also presents to you a different perspective of the events in RE 0-3 using old familiar characters. Get this NOW! You won't regret it.

A nostalgic trip for fans that is more fun when you have a friend As the release of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles looms, it seems appropriate to revisit the first installment in Capcom's nostalgic light gun shooter series. The first installment offers Cliffsnotes versions of RE0, 1, and 3, as well as an entirely new scenario set in the Umbrella headquarters in Russia.
There's something satisfying about shooting a zombie's head off in one shot and hearing that all-too-gross splat as his brains go flying everywhere. The problem with UC is that the enemies take way too many hits to go down. It's understandable given the fact that the game would be way too easy if any shot to the head took down an enemy in one hit, but there's a fine line between challenge and frustration and UC flirts with it far too often. The main culprit, however, is the checkpoint system. Most levels offer one checkpoint midway through the level, and with most of the challenging bits coming after that first checkpoint, you'll be testing your willpower to not be flinging your wiimote at the TV as you see yourself whisked back fifteen minutes because the screen turned itself at an awkward angle and you couldn't get that shot off in time.
I have no problem with a challenge in games, but when you can't control your player (by the very design of the game), sometimes the ability to succeed seems out of your control. Fans of the series will appreciate the visits to old-school locales (mainly from RE3, as 0 and 1, with the Gamecube releases, seem almost so recent in memory that nostalgia's not quite there yet). Play this game if you wanna get primed for Darkside Chronicles, which promises to be more polished and cohesive than this game. Also, play co-op so you can share the frustration of restarting a checkpoint with a friend.

Great RE Spinoff game At first, I was kinda dissapointed knowing this game to be a Rail Shooting game. But, after I played it, WOW...!!! This is actually one of few good looking games in Wii. It's kinda slow (hey, it's Resident Evil) but quite creepy. The atmosphere of the game are well made. You play as the members of stars, from the early beggining of the RE history in the first person manner. It's quite challenging game especially the Hard difficulty settings. And it has many hidden items to collect. Gives you a lot of time to spend. The shooting actions is good, not so fast hardcore action, but slow paced and scary.Overall, I recomended this game for all RE fans. Discover many secrets and story that you've never see or hear before.
Welcome to new experience biohazard !! New experience for biohazard'fan , you can see & expolre raccoon city by play rail gun game ^^

A good scare This onrail shooter is a great addition to the resident evil series offering extra background info on the series from res evil 0, 1 and 2. You even get to play as Wesker. What more can I say Res Evil fans. Go buy it.

Good Game This is probably the best rail shooter out there and there is tons to unlock in it as well, lots of guns, secrets, etc. I definately recommend this game to all wii owners who love shooting games.
really good shooting game to have fun RE Umbrella Chronicles is a fun shooting game,i think this game is not good has many others in the genre but is really fun to play, the controls r very easy to get use to it,is really fun to use the wiimote has a gun, with the Wiizapp could b more fun mayb but wiimote is enough cool to have fun
the only few complain i have about this game is that is kinda short game, also sometimes the enemies r not that fast and dynamic has u want to b so they could add some challenge to the game
cooperative mode is really recommended, play with a friend really makes the experience better, help each other to beat a lot of zombies, monsters and in boss fights u will need a partner to make it more dynamic,i dont know if playing in coop mode makes the game more harder, that will b really cool
but overall is a very good game to have fun,if u r a diehard fan of RE,this game is a must have,u can play stories of RE Zero,1 and 3,awesome package of stories from RE
Is there any better gun game? Umbrella Chronicles has the most content of any gun game I've ever played. There's tons of levels and lots of hidden items to find within them. The story is a nice recap of past RE games, even if it's filled with minor inconsistencies. The graphics and sound are excellent too. Co-op play is too much fun... All gun fans should pick up a Zapper or a better gun peripheral and give it a shot. This version is Japanese, but all the voices are in English with Japanese subtitles.

Wii Exclusive Another RE installment and this time is Wii exclusive title, an on rail shooter game like time crisis.
not what i was expecting i was a little disappointed by this one to be honest. i was hoping for another house of the dead experience like i had with my dreamcast, but this game is just not as fun
there needs to be a better balance between quick moving enemies (to scare/surprise you) but not make them ridiculously difficult to kill
i also find the crosshairs/scope on the screen to be very annoying and poorly designed. it detracts from the other elements of the game and should have been simplified

resident evil Take a fun filled trip down memory lane, and relive the moments that made resident evil the way it is
On rails shooter, with a lot of options still, you can affect the game
