Needs a new model.
I prefer the XBOX 360 universal remote, it lights up when you press a button, surely sony could have added this, not to mention the shape, the 360 remotes are nice and round comfy in one hand, but this one you need it to sit flat in fingers then claw your thumb right across. over priced but if you watch movies its something you will have to consider. Quality of the build is good, that's about it.

This is a mighty controller under XMB interface, which means, pictures, musics, mepg vides and web browsing can all be manipulated by holding this simple yet stunning designed bluetooth remote controller, no more pointing-to-receiver action because of the bluetooth technology. The surface of this controller is elegant, can't describe which material it is. I highly recommend this remote controller to all PS3 owners.

Not to shabby!
The sony ps3 bd remote is a little bland(no led lights standard shape) But is lightweight and much easier to use than the controller. Its bluetooth and is easily registered in the CMB. Would have been very nice if it was rechargable with the usb cable but it takes two double a batteries.Nice remote though and i havent played around with it much.
