This controller is too awesome. The weight of it feels so much better than the standard sixaxis and rumble is just as good as I remember. There was no hassle connecting it either. I just plugged in the charger and pushed the PS button and I was all ready to play. Highly recommended. White color is very slick as well.

Awesome Controller!
I just received my controller today! Rumble is slightly less than the DS2. Good Weight. CERAMIC WHITE is the sexiest color of them all. Absolutely recommend! Box is in japanese. GREAT CONTROLLER! I want another!

Excellent controller
This is what Sony should have launched with. Great weight, great rumble.

It's a near perfect controller. It took long get to me but it was well worth the wait. The white color was too sweet to pass up.

Works 100% with my U.S. system for any U.S. buyers who are wondering.

Very Nice
The Dual Shock 3 weighs about 55g more than the original Sixaxis controller but the weight is definitely noticeable. The added weight is certainly not a bad thing as the original sixaxis controller felt rather flimsy and inaccurate particularly when using the sixaxis tilt functions. The Dual Shock 3 feels solid and well built.
Sony claims that the vibration force is comparable to the Dual Shock 2 however when using it i felt that it was somewhat weaker. That said the vibrations also felt more precise in that there were more varying levels of impact vibration.
This controller is long overdue and should have been ready for sale with the PS3 on it's release day. It's a must have addition to the PS3 and i would be very surprised if Sony don't start selling this as standard with the console.
For this particular version (Satin Silver) the choice of colour is a bit of a gimmick but at the same time it does look interestingly different to the rather ordinary black version.
