This controller is too awesome. The weight of it feels so much better than the standard sixaxis and rumble is just as good as I remember. There was no hassle connecting it either. I just plugged in the charger and pushed the PS button and I was all ready to play. Highly recommended. White color is very slick as well.

Still the best controller
The Dual Shock 3 remains a very well-built controller.
It feels good in your hands thanks to ergonomic design, has decent battery life and charges relatively quickly.
Play-Asia as always has great service, timely shipping and also the best price anywhere online.

A bit disappointed.
I've bitten many controllers from local stores with no problem. But this controller has an L1 button that doesn't work so,I had to unscrew it and fiddle around and now it usually works but its not perfect.

Controllers cost quite a bit in Australia, and buying from PA easily saves you a quite a bit and the controller itself is very durable and ergonomic in design. Can't go wrong with Dualshock 3

After buying what appears to be fake on e-bay, I gave play-asia a try. And this time I didnt find any issues I had with the fake one (joysticks deadzones, red light slightly visible through 2 & 3 indicators instead of just 1, low battery durability). So far everything seems okay and the overall quality is better than that of the fake one I got.

Even though people says SCIII is better (thus kills your memory cards), its like saying Super Smash Bros Brawl is better than Melee.
It's a great game and brings out the best and worst in you, like a Competitive Game should. It has improved Graphics, you can create your own Custom Characters and Star Wars Characters in it even though it doesn't make sense.

RUMBLE IN THE JUNGLE
I have been struggling to find justification to buy a rumble controller since I bought the console on launch day and had 3 standard controllers that were the only ones available at launch. At this price it's awesome and rumble really does add a new element to gameplay which most people already have experienced. Great quality Sony original product and at half the price that I can get it in my own country.

I purchased the controller for standby purpose since I always playing single mode (don't have a friend or I don't think my wife is a good gamer though).. What I mean is when the battery of my current controller is empty, I don't have to stay charging while playing.. simply grab the already fully charged while charging the empty one.

There isn't much to say other than that its the official controller and its probably the best one. Good price and decent delivery time, but I wasn't happy that postie left the package on the front door which could have easily got stolen. This isn't fault of playasia, but reason I prefer not to shop online.

Feels solid, official (as far as I can tell) and the colour is a welcome change to boring old black.

Good Controller
This is the same as the black controlller that comes with PS3, so if you like it, the difference is just in the color.
On the plus side I noticed ti's better to have different color controllers when there's more people with you, it1s easier to find out witch one is yours

It's as good as the controllers that came with ps3, only real difference is in the color. So if you like the blck version this one will do just fine.

I had a Playstation back in 1998,n boy am i glad that Sony kept the original DualShock design. The controller feels great in your hand,not too big nor too small,and it is just sexy..the black one had this small glittering dust all over it that makes it stand out from the white one.
If you had the original DS,then you'll feel just like home with the DS3.

This is slightly more precise than the USA controller, in my experience the JAPAN ones also last longer before the sticks begin to give in.

It's a vibrated handle on PS3, and 40G hard drive version of the corresponding ceramic white. I have bought many games from it and enjoyed the high performance to price ratio. You must try it once!

This controller is fantastic. For some odd reason, it also feels much better than the original Black Dual Shock 3, it feels to be made of a different material (closer to the 360's material) and it feels excellent, much less slippery!

I've never played with a dualshock3 before, two of my earlier pads are sixaxis only. After getting it I tried it with GOW3 and the sensation is unforgettable. I don't think I can go back to the old sixaxis. And it looks great in blue.

Really worth for the Rumble support
I recently ordered the Dualshock 2 controller from Play-Asia and received it within 2 weeks time. The service from play-asia is excellent. I received the controller with absolutely no damage!! The Dualshock controller is just awesome. It is slightly heavier than the featherlight Sixaxis controller which gives it a bit more heft. The rumble support in the controller gave me a very nice feeling and I must say that I missed this feature very badly while I was playing with the Sixaxis controller. I had no issues connecting it either. I just plugged in the usb cable and pushed the PS button and I was all ready to play.

By far the best looking and hardest to find (in store) of all the Playstation 3 controllers. It's very useful to distinguish yours from a friend's controller on multiplayers; no more confusion of "umm, which one's yours/mine"? Lastly, you'll always know by color difference which remote is your fully charged and which one needs charging.

Red and Blue looked a little too intense on the color scale and the white looked nice but settled on silver. In a nutshell this is an official PS3 controller, in a colour we can't normally get hold of, for slightly over half of what we'd pay locally. If you need another controller, buying one of these is a no-brainer. Buy it with a game or two and the postage becomes insignificant.

Where it says SONY on the face on the controller, behind the "S", it lights up bright red. I think this is a defect and I have sent play asia a request email to exchange for another red one. As my title suggests,there is no excuse for someone to purchase a PS3 and not have the Dualshock3 rumble controller.It weighs a bit heavier then the normal SixAxis and it feels at home in my hands, like the previous PS2 controllers.Analog sticks are smooth.Mine is the Satin Silver version and it has a slick feel and look.

Very Nice
The Dual Shock 3 weighs about 55g more than the original Sixaxis controller but the weight is definitely noticeable. The added weight is certainly not a bad thing as the original sixaxis controller felt rather flimsy and inaccurate particularly when using the sixaxis tilt functions. The Dual Shock 3 feels solid and well built.

This controller is long overdue and should have been ready for sale with the PS3 on it's release day. It's a must have addition to the PS3 and i would be very surprised if Sony don't start selling this as standard with the console.

The Dual Shock 3 weighs about 55g more than the original Sixaxis controller but the weight is definitely noticeable. The added weight is certainly not a bad thing as the original sixaxis controller felt rather flimsy and inaccurate particularly when using the sixaxis tilt functions. The Dual Shock 3 feels solid and well built.

I was first hesitant about ordering this controller for I sent Play-Asia an e-mail and received a quick response. I ordered and received it in no time at all. The controller looks great and the rumble should have been what the console came with. I'm ordering another one, just can't decide on silver or another white one.

This controller is too awesome. The weight of it feels so much better than the standard sixaxis and rumble is just as good as I remember. There was no hassle connecting it either. I just plugged in the charger and pushed the PS button and I was all ready to play. Highly recommended. White color is very slick as well.

i LOVE this and by the way if you are a ps3 owner and u do decide to get a dualshock 3 and u dont know which color, i say go with this one, because i have this and a white dualshock 3 and i think the rumble on the silver is better because i noticed it is slightly heavier than the white one.

I got this controller to have vibration is my old PS2 games, after I got it, I found that it is better than the Dualshock 2, when playing a PS2 game it vibrates a lot like the Dualshock 2 being that is what the game is programmed for, but if you play a new PS3 game, the vibration is a lot better, and you feel more in the game, and it is more independent than the Dualshock 2, if something happes on the left side, the just the left side will vibrate, same for the right

This is the controller to end all other controllers. It took about about a week and a half to get here but once it did, it was playstation all night. I've been using the Dual-Shock 3 for few weeks now and I can't believe Sony couldn't find a way to make this available until recently. I have both XB360 and PS3. Was missing the rumble on the PS3. Uncharted is fabulous with the rumble. Motorstorm feedback is minimal but still a great addition. I could not make it work for The Darkness. I can't wait for all future games to support the DS3.

AWESOME FUN!!!
I got mine off here about a month or two ago, I have not stopped having fun with it.
It is actually making me play Warhawk more because of it, it adds so much to the atmosphere of the game it's unbelievable.

THANKS PLAYASIA!!! for allowing me to experience rumble again on my PS3. It feels great in your hands with a little added weight. One of the best descions i made was getting this early. This is a must for all PS3 owners.

Dual Shock 3 - Six Axis
It's got more weight to it, the battery lasts just as long too! It's 300 maA compared to the regular controller's 30 maA. The rumble feature is great to have back and i'm glade Sony's settled the lawsuit. I just hope it works for Call of Duty 4 Soon.

Awesome. I'm so glad I purchased this controller. Playing with Sixaxis was so light it was like playing with a toy or cheep knock off. This one feels so much more authentic to the Playstation experience. Rumble worked on Uncharted. A must buy for any PS3 enthusiast.

Just recieved controller on Fri and played UnCharted Demo, great rumble action. The controller feels heavier and the white color helps me know that this one is mine when I bring it to a friends house. Great controller and good shipping.

Finally a PS3 controller with Weight
The Dualshock 3 feels and plays great. Many PS3 titles are continuously being updated with the ability to make this controller rumble. The battery life is just as good if not better than the regular SIXAXIS controller.

This was the best thing....
I am sooooo glad I got this. I didn't even like my PS3 untill I got this controller. It feels alot better in my hands and the dual analog sticks feel for solid and resistant not like the Six Axis that feels cheap and the sticks feel flimsy.. To think how a controller could make someone feel like more games must be bought to use this controller with. Warhawk, Resistance, Uncharted, Oblivian, Eye of Judgment and CoD4...My collection is growing now...! P.S. If you got the dough BUY IT just buy it.

Great addition to PS3
The DUALSHOCK3 is slightly heavier in weight than sixaxis and makes the controller feel more comfortable. Rumble feedback is a nice addition that adds an extra layer to gameplay. Shipping was fast. Good transaction.

Sony should have had the shock in a LOOOOOONG time ago... wow. Anyway, awesome controller, it's the way things should feel when you play your old ps2 games. It's funny though cause it will feel very heavy if you're used to the original SIX AXIS one like me but after a while you'll like it.
The analog sticks have also apparently been tweaked to be more sensitive in this one but i haven't noticed much.
All in all great controller, a must buy!!!

I just got my rumble controller today and am enjoying every bit of it. It feels nice and solid, and has a really good weight. The rumble is perfect. Definetely get one if you haven't yet.

Recevied this just in time for Christmas Eve and has to be the present recieved! (sorry family).
If you thought you could live without rumble, think again! It definitely brings back life into your PS3, and makes you want to play your older games again (considering they have rumble enabled/patched for it).

i just got my controller yesterday. this is controller is awesome. ive only played smackdown vs raw 2008 and resistance with it and both of those use the rumble perfectly. i love this controller, im buying another one asap.

Finally tending more to the customers' wants. DUALSHOCK 3 is great, the vibration in RESISTANCE FoM is excellent, it has more of a sharp pulse during gunfire than DUALSHOCK 2. I have read that it is the same technolodgy, but when comparing this to my PS2's DUALSHOCK 2 controller, the difference is very noticeable. Most PS2 games feel about the same, but UT3, RESISTANCE FoM and COD4 seem to have more programming bluffs in the vibration, - different kinds of effects an left/right positioning. In COD4 I can feel the explosion of a grenade and know where it exploded almost by just feeling the vibrations.
The weight is now slightly heavier. It feels more like a controller and less like a cheap light weight piece of plastic.
All in all, the DUALSHOCK 3 is a step in the right direction for sony, an excellent piece of hardware, and has a perfect weight. If you're like me, order one now - you won't be disapointed.

Having good vibrations!
I am very happy with the dual shock 3, it works a charm with Tekken Dr. The force feedback feels like a hand massage also the weight of the controller is about right not too heavy or light just right =)

I just received my Dual shock 3 today and It is AWESOME. I have to be honest though I was expecting a little more "kick" if you will. I think the rumble could be stronger. With that said I think this was one of the best things sony could of done to make the gaming experience better. Don't hesitate get one now, kudos to play-asia for the quick and fast shipping. I will definitely buy from them again.

Used it at a friends place, and it works perfectly fine, even for PS2 games played on the PS3. Its just a little heavier than the Sixaxis wich is nice since the Sixaxis is very light (a little too if you ask me). Used it a lot for the GT5:Prologue demo and it makes the game a much better experiance than without rumble.

It feels like the ps2 dualshock 2, nice weight, feels robust, it's not see-through like the sixaxis. The vibration is very good, better than the PS2's. I love it!!!! I can't see myself play with no rumble ever again!
