Good Product
Works like a charm. Just like the advertised it only enable copy PS2 save files from PS2 Memory card to PS3. It very usefull if you have first launch PS3 which have PS2 Backward Compatibiliy.

Works well but not without hassle
For reference: My PS3 is a 'Fat' 80 Gb one with update 4.31 installed.
All in all, the device works as intended - speedy file copying with no data loss of any kind. Unlike the other users, I experienced no problems with the provided USB cable. However, this adaptor only reads PS2 memory cards.
Thus, since it does not detect PS1 cards at all (not even first-party ones) you'll be forced to copy all PS1 memory card information to a PS2 memory card first before transfering it all to a PS3. This, in part, sort of beats the purpose of the device, imo.
That aside, given the excellent price, no doubt this is one very handy item to have in spite of the fact you'll probably be using it only once in a while.

If you have many memory cards of the psone and ps2 and/or don`t want risk to lose your saves,is a almost obligatory item for backup.Recommended.
