This controller is too awesome. The weight of it feels so much better than the standard sixaxis and rumble is just as good as I remember. There was no hassle connecting it either. I just plugged in the charger and pushed the PS button and I was all ready to play. Highly recommended. White color is very slick as well.

Ceramic White DualShock 3 is awesome! awesome color, works perfectly, the only slight difference i can tell is that the analog sticks are just a tad bit more stiff than the ones in my country. but it actually helps game play for racing games. again great controller, but most people probably won't be able to tell the difference unless you play games all the time like i do.

White Dualshock 3 I got the white controller as you can not buy any other than black were I live. Works fine and looks great. Play-asia delivered in under 5 days and it still cost me less than if I had simply brought a black one from my local outlet!
Dual Shock 3 (Satin Silver) Wanted something other that the usual black one that comes with the console and I settled on the silver. Red and Blue looked a little too intense on the color scale and the white looked nice but settled on silver. Very happy, much like the black dual shock I already have a good solid product from sony at a good price from play-asia.

People have been making claims on the internet that their white dual shock controllers weren't working on their ps3 because they were fake, so i was abit worried when i ordered my ceramic white controller from here I'm happy to say that these controllers are infact genuine official sony products, and found no fault at all with my controller. I also compared this official product with the fake controllers being sold online, and the differences are substantial when looked up close. ps3 dual shock 3 great controller improvement on ds2 lighter has rumble pack ability for games that support it buttons pressure sensitive therefore slightly quicker response compared to ds2 good colour range. i have deep red which looks good.liked it that much bought another one.
The BEST Controller ever... I bought this one to try better gaming experiences! The Dual Shock really exceeded my expectations when I started to play with the "rumbling" resources... No title Well I hope it's just me but the one I just received had the light from the small red lights on top show through the face of my controller. Where it says SONY on the face on the controller, behind the "S", it lights up bright red. I think this is a defect and I have sent play asia a request email to exchange for another red one. Otherwise it works just as good as a default black one. Lets just hope they send me one that doesn't do that :(
Still The Reigning King of the Ring When it comes to intuitivety, durability and user-friendliness, there are few controllers that come close to DS3. It is the complete package. The battery life is great, the range is virtually limitless, the interface is familiar and it weighs perfect too! No strings attached...
My only complaint is that the L2/R2 triggers are bent-shaped which makes the fingers slip off them at times when pressing them. Also: Sony please remove the SIXAXIS markings off the DS3 controller. Not only are they confusing, but also make no sense. Just DUAL SHOCK 3 should suffice, shouldn't it?...
Familiar and generally comfortable. The new DS3 is basically the same as the old DS3, with a few changes to the L2/R2 trigger buttons, which are now closer to real triggers but lacking the convex design of the 360 controller triggers. The D-pad is still great, and the controller is light and durable with a long lasting l-ion battery. The caveat here is that the battery is not replacable, and you will need to send the controller to Sony for replacement when it is no longer capable of holding charge.

No title Works perfectly fine with no issues, just keep in mind that it needs charging for a couple of hours before you can use it and you'll need to use your existing USB cable to do so (as there's no cable included)
Awesome Already own a white controller but needed a second dual shock, didnt wanna go with the standard black. couldnt have made a better choice, controller is authentic, looks great and feels great. highly recommended.
Awesome Colour!! Was going to go for white but thought it'll be a bit boring so i decided to go for the red. As you expect from sony products the quality and finish is excellent. The new dualshock 3 models are great as they feel heavier than the sixaxis and the rumble is great!
Flawless! These new colours are amazing! I bought a Red and Blue one for my PS3 and love them, especially the Blue as it has a kind of sparkle to its colour that makes it all the more special.
controller compatible with all systems not much to say but it is a good controller that has been slowly refined since the original dualshock for playstation one came out. tried and trusted.

Its cool.. It's a nice controller.. no doubt.. It is not as metallic as the picture looks. Also when the light is on or flashing the entire middle of the controller is illuminated. That being said. Its a nice new controller.

Awesome controller This controller is great looking and plays just like any other PS3 Dualshock 3 controller with the exception thats its White and not release anywhere else except for Japan. A great buy for those looking for another controller or a new one.
The game icon lives It's amazing that the Sony is able to use the " same" controller all this years. But I certainly don't mean this in a bad way, I mean it's so true what they say, why fix what's not broken? Just keep the 'rumble' feature and cut the wires. And that's what they did. Cheers to the best controller ever made. I'm not surprise if PS5 still sports this same controller, but with added functions of course. ha.

No excuse for perfect gaming As my title suggests,there is no excuse for someone to purchase a PS3 and not have the Dualshock3 rumble controller.It weighs a bit heavier then the normal SixAxis and it feels at home in my hands, like the previous PS2 controllers.Analog sticks are smooth.Mine is the Satin Silver version and it has a slick feel and look.

Very Nice The Dual Shock 3 weighs about 55g more than the original Sixaxis controller but the weight is definitely noticeable. The added weight is certainly not a bad thing as the original sixaxis controller felt rather flimsy and inaccurate particularly when using the sixaxis tilt functions. The Dual Shock 3 feels solid and well built.
Sony claims that the vibration force is comparable to the Dual Shock 2 however when using it i felt that it was somewhat weaker. That said the vibrations also felt more precise in that there were more varying levels of impact vibration.
This controller is long overdue and should have been ready for sale with the PS3 on it's release day. It's a must have addition to the PS3 and i would be very surprised if Sony don't start selling this as standard with the console.
For this particular version (Satin Silver) the choice of colour is a bit of a gimmick but at the same time it does look interestingly different to the rather ordinary black version.
I love this controller! First off let me say, Thank you Playasia. This website is the best. It is esspecially fast. Then I want to say that the rumble has what the PS3 was missing. I love the weight and the vibration. This is a must buy for any one.

Outstanding DS3 Controller I was first hesitant about ordering this controller for I sent Play-Asia an e-mail and received a quick response. I ordered and received it in no time at all. The controller looks great and the rumble should have been what the console came with. I'm ordering another one, just can't decide on silver or another white one.

It works fine on US PS3 It took longer to sync to my PS3 then my other controllers. It add the major thing that the PS3 was missing from launch.

Best Dualshock controller ever I got this controller to have vibration is my old PS2 games, after I got it, I found that it is better than the Dualshock 2, when playing a PS2 game it vibrates a lot like the Dualshock 2 being that is what the game is programmed for, but if you play a new PS3 game, the vibration is a lot better, and you feel more in the game, and it is more independent than the Dualshock 2, if something happes on the left side, the just the left side will vibrate, same for the right

Soooooo, Pretty!... and works great too!!! Not only does the DS3 (DualShock 3) deliver as promised (I had forgotten what I was missing with the SIXAXIS all these months) but it looks sooooo much better in SHINY! CERAMIC! WHITE!!! Don't get me wrong, I think Black is beautiful too, but the White stands out in comparison to my shinny black PS3 and all the black accessories. I even bought one for a friend.

Thanks for this sony This is the controller to end all other controllers. It took about about a week and a half to get here but once it did, it was playstation all night. The vibration is strong enough to let you know its working(well) but its not overly powerful. It is also alot sturdier than the sixaxis which is a welcome change. Having used all of the controllers from all the sysytems I can say I love this one the best. Now that the dualshock controllers are back theres no reason for anyone to buy a sixaxis. Thanks for listening Sony, youve made me one happy camper.

Essential This is definitely the best PS3 controller out. The rumble works great with Uncharted, DMC 4, and Resistance. Why Sony ever decided to do away with rumble in the first place, I'll never understand. One of my criticisms of the original PS3 controller is how light weight it is. The new heavier weight feels just about right (although not as good as the original PSX Dual Shock), and the controller's designs continues to be the most comfortable and ergonomic among the consoles.
Well done play-asia and well done sony Got mine yesterday, and after having played UT3 for an hour or two, really realised how much I missed the rumble. The very slight increase in weight gives the controller a sturdy and better feel. Well done sony for responding to the consumers comments.

Rumble On I ordered two of these and have had them for a month and I have to say that these controllers are excellent. They are heavier than a sixaxis which is good and the analog sticks feel tighter and more responsive. Also, the rumble works equally well with my PS2 and my PS3 games. Buy it and rumble on.

Amazing Great feel because of the added weight. The original Six-axis controller feels like a toy in comparison. My favorite addition is the directional rumble, so basically, if I get shot from the right, my controller will shift to the left. The only change that could be positive or negative depending on your view is that now the rumble comes out in bursts instead of staying rumbly like the ps2 controller. I would write more but my sister wants the computer.

I've been using the Dual-Shock 3 for few weeks now and I can't believe Sony couldn't find a way to make this available until recently. It feels much more comfortable than the Sixaxis (due to the added weight) and rumble works as well as could be expected. Definitely the way to go for PS3 gaming. Highly recommended.
Completes The PS3 I have both XB360 and PS3. Was missing the rumble on the PS3. Uncharted is fabulous with the rumble. Motorstorm feedback is minimal but still a great addition. I could not make it work for The Darkness. I can't wait for all future games to support the DS3.

Dual Shock 3 - Great! but not for me :[ The Dual Shock 3 controller is great and seriously increases your gaming enjoyment.
The rumble is great. Not strong, but you feel 'notes' of it's vibration which isn't overwhelming but makes you 'listen' for the subtle quality it has.
What I mean is when the controller rumbles, it isn't really strong, but you feel the rumble accurately and balanced which allows for a realistic feel in the games.

Although Dual Shock 3 superb, the experience hasn't been for me, my left analog stick doesn't work. I have to move the left thumbstick all the way down, hard, to make some kinda sensor thing click to 'detect' it to move down.
Dualshock Makes my PS3 console much better. Would really recommend getting one.

Dual Shock 3 - Six Axis It's got more weight to it, the battery lasts just as long too! It's 300 maA compared to the regular controller's 30 maA. The rumble feature is great to have back and i'm glade Sony's settled the lawsuit. I just hope it works for Call of Duty 4 Soon.

Dual Shock 3 Just recieved controller on Fri and played UnCharted Demo, great rumble action. The controller feels heavier and the white color helps me know that this one is mine when I bring it to a friends house. Great controller and good shipping.

This was the best thing.... I am sooooo glad I got this. I didn't even like my PS3 untill I got this controller. It feels alot better in my hands and the dual analog sticks feel for solid and resistant not like the Six Axis that feels cheap and the sticks feel flimsy.. To think how a controller could make someone feel like more games must be bought to use this controller with. Warhawk, Resistance, Uncharted, Oblivian, Eye of Judgment and CoD4...My collection is growing now...! P.S. If you got the dough BUY IT just buy it.

Great Accessory I luv this controller. The weight is better and it feels more sturdy. Its great having rumble back. Burnout and Uncharted is even more enjoyable to play know. I cant wait for more games to have it.
Great addition to PS3 The DUALSHOCK3 is slightly heavier in weight than sixaxis and makes the controller feel more comfortable. Rumble feedback is a nice addition that adds an extra layer to gameplay. Shipping was fast. Good transaction.

AWESOME.. Sony should have had the shock in a LOOOOOONG time ago... wow. Anyway, awesome controller, it's the way things should feel when you play your old ps2 games. It's funny though cause it will feel very heavy if you're used to the original SIX AXIS one like me but after a while you'll like it.
The analog sticks have also apparently been tweaked to be more sensitive in this one but i haven't noticed much.
All in all great controller, a must buy!!!

I Love this controller!! I thought i was fine with the sixaxis but once i got my hands on this controller i realized how much i missed the dual schock. it feels perfect on my hands and the rumble is great!
great controller it works like it should the only game it wont work on is call of duty 4......but it brings the other games to life im going to buy another one soon................
Best Controller I just got my rumble controller today and am enjoying every bit of it. It feels nice and solid, and has a really good weight. The rumble is perfect. Definetely get one if you haven't yet.
THE DUALSHOCK 3 IS SHOCKING!!! This is the best controller ever it has SIXAXIS, and a really SHARP VIBRATION. You can feel every single bullet that you shoot out of the gun in the game, so if u shoot 100 bullets a seconds you'll get 100 PULSES a second on the controll it's heavier and the BATTERIES LAST AS LONG AS A REGULAR SIXAXIS CONTROLL!!!

Definitely Recommended! Recevied this just in time for Christmas Eve and has to be the present recieved! (sorry family).
If you thought you could live without rumble, think again! It definitely brings back life into your PS3, and makes you want to play your older games again (considering they have rumble enabled/patched for it).

Perfect! This control responds perfectly. Have used it on F1, Uncharted, Burnout Paradise and Res FOM so far with great results. The solid build of the dual shock 3 gives it a more robust feel. Do not hesitate to purchase as the rumble feature really adds another dimension to the gameplay of most games.

great controller i just got my controller yesterday. this is controller is awesome. ive only played smackdown vs raw 2008 and resistance with it and both of those use the rumble perfectly. i love this controller, im buying another one asap.

GOOD JOB SONY! Finally tending more to the customers' wants. DUALSHOCK 3 is great, the vibration in RESISTANCE FoM is excellent, it has more of a sharp pulse during gunfire than DUALSHOCK 2. I have read that it is the same technolodgy, but when comparing this to my PS2's DUALSHOCK 2 controller, the difference is very noticeable. Most PS2 games feel about the same, but UT3, RESISTANCE FoM and COD4 seem to have more programming bluffs in the vibration, - different kinds of effects an left/right positioning. In COD4 I can feel the explosion of a grenade and know where it exploded almost by just feeling the vibrations.
The weight is now slightly heavier. It feels more like a controller and less like a cheap light weight piece of plastic.
All in all, the DUALSHOCK 3 is a step in the right direction for sony, an excellent piece of hardware, and has a perfect weight. If you're like me, order one now - you won't be disapointed.
I would also like to give kudos to playasia for getting me the controller in only 3 days, great shipping!!

Having good vibrations! I am very happy with the dual shock 3, it works a charm with Tekken Dr. The force feedback feels like a hand massage also the weight of the controller is about right not too heavy or light just right =)

Awesome I just received my Dual shock 3 today and It is AWESOME. I have to be honest though I was expecting a little more "kick" if you will. I think the rumble could be stronger. With that said I think this was one of the best things sony could of done to make the gaming experience better. Don't hesitate get one now, kudos to play-asia for the quick and fast shipping. AMAZING Awesome! Got mine today and it plays great! The rumble just feels right and completes the system, works best with GT 5 prologue! Also the white is so sexy I can't stand it! Play-Asia you have done it again!
Perfect Used it at a friends place, and it works perfectly fine, even for PS2 games played on the PS3. Its just a little heavier than the Sixaxis wich is nice since the Sixaxis is very light (a little too if you ask me). Used it a lot for the GT5:Prologue demo and it makes the game a much better experiance than without rumble.

It feels like the ps2 dualshock 2, nice weight, feels robust, it's not see-through like the sixaxis. The vibration is very good, better than the PS2's. I love it!!!! I can't see myself play with no rumble ever again!
