As announced around 2 weeks ago, Microsoft will be releasing 2 new limited edition Xbox™ console for the Japanese market in Q1/2004:

Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue Edition

The Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue Edition includes a clear blue Xbox™ console (with a silver jewel and DOA Online logo) as well as a copy of Dead or Alive Online. The set is limited to 5000 units only.

Preorders for the Xbox Kasumi-chan Blue Edition are still open at US$ 299 only.

Xbox Pure White Limited Edition

The Xbox Pure White Limited Edition includes a pure white Xbox™ console and a Joypad in the same color. The set is limited to 1000 units only.

Preorders for this model are currently not accepted since it's exclusively available through Microsoft's online store in Japan only. However we are trying our very best to get a couple of those in stock around release. Please check back regularly for updates or submit your e-mail address on the Xbox Pure White Limited Edition product page.

As a final reminder, both models are Japanese version Xbox™ consoles, designed for playback of Japanese Xbox™ games only.
