Puyo Puyo Fever 2 is the Christmas update to last year's popular puzzle game. The game includes a new portal world, with a town called Purinpu Town. You play as one of the three main characters (either Amity, Rafeena or Shigu), move around town, speak with other characters, go shopping and more.
A nine-course single player mode is located at the Purinpu Magic School, as well as a challenge mode and others. Points that are scored during game can be exchanged for items that help in single player modes. Puyo Pop Fever 2 supports Game Sharing and wireless link play.

Players can expect 30 to 40 hours of playing time as they journey on land, on sea and in the air, and explore new towns, caves and mountains in their attempt to recover stolen crystals. Twelve different characters with new abilities, spells and items join and leave the party at different parts of the quest to keep the game fresh.
