We have five species of pikmin in different levels of growth, from leaf to flower to fruit. Each colored pikmin specializes in a different area:
Red Pikmin is immune to fire
Blue Pikmin is immune to water
Yellow is immune to electricity
The white are poisonous
Purple are the strongest physically
Aside from the five colors, we also have Chapy, the pikmin infested bulborb. Although bulborbs are not allowed to move out of their caves, feel free to defy this rule in the real world by taking him to the living room or your office as a decoration.
