Welcome to this week's Games & Toys update, our Thursday summary, where we are reviewing all related items released during the last 7 days.

It's been a very exciting release week, more than 50 new titles were published in Japan. In the spotlight of this week has certainly been Nintendo's highly anticipated new hardware release, the Nintendo DS™ Lite. A shipping update will be posted later today in a separate news post.

Additionally, lots of other interesting titles have been released this week. PlayStation2™ highlights have been Konami's Bemani update Pop'n Music 12 (Regular/Konamistyle Edition), Atlus' RPG Devil Summoner: Kuzunoha Raidou, Bandai's Mobile Suit Gundam Climax U.C. and Namco's budget priced RPG Venus & Braves.

The hottest handheld movers in this week have been Square-Enix's Seiken Densetsu DS: Children of Mana (Nintendo DS™), followed by the PSP™ releases Valkyrie Profile: Lenneth (Japanese/Asia), Rockman Rockman (Japanese/Asia), Blade Dancer: Sennen no Yakusoku (Japanese/Chinese) and the Korean exclusive Meta Juice.

Quite a few new toys & gaming related items have been stocked up at Play-Asia in this week, including the Kingdom Hearts II Ultimania and Final Fantasy XII World Preview (expected to be in stock tomorrow) book releases as well as the popular low priced Super Mario Bros. Sound Drops Gashapon.
