More hit Square Enix titles are coming out under the Ulitmate Hits series, so to all those people who have missed their chances of getting the previous editions, this is now the ultimate chance of grabbing a copy of a much anticipated game and save plenty of cash in the process.

From the publisher: DIRGE of CERBERUS™ traces the story of the mysterious Vincent Valentine in the first action game based on FINAL FANTASY® VII.

In this character-driven action shooter, players will be able to customize their firearms, dispense strategic melee attacks, and use a limit break technique to transform into a powerful beast with special skills. The story of FINAL FANTASY VII continues to unfold three years after the events of the seminal 1997 title.

Three years have passed since the events of FINAL FANTASY VII. Buried alive following Meteorfall, a mysterious group known as “Deepground” emerges and begins raiding the city of Midgar, ultimately threatening the world. The enigmatic Vincent Valentine is somehow connected to these attacks, and he may be the only one who can save this shattered society.

When the world becomes shrouded in darkness, his gun will toll a dreadful dirge. Vincent is not alone in his journey; with the help of familiar friends, an amazing story unfolds as secrets are revealed and mysteries are explained.

Dirge of Cerberus: Final Fantasy VII International (Ultimate Hits) comes with these added elements: more battle techniques to be employed, extra features such as a music and image galleries and more missions to complete.

As an International edition, the game features English voices but will contain Japanese subtitles. Make a grab at the NTSC J encoded version of Dirge of Cerberus for your PlayStation2™ for US$ 34.90 only.

Please see here for the full list of Ultimate Hits games available at Play-Asia.com.

Aside from the Final Fantasy VII spin off, Drag-On Dragoon, and its sequel Love Red, Ambivalence Black, too is added into the Ultimate Hits series.

The controversial games have caused quite a stir in the gaming community. The kill all action system provided a lot of excitement and flying on the dragon's back is exhilarating, however the plot elements are anything but sunny and cheerful.

Violence and gore are graphically depicted, while revenge takes center role, incest and cannibalism are key issues that fuels plot development. The first game Drag-On Dragoon tells the tale of revenge of a prince from a small small country, the sacrifices he has made and the bitter ends he came to.

The second game takes place 18 years after the events of the original game and wrap up the loose ends that results from the past events. Aside from new heroes, and weapons, old characters such as the black dragon and the tragic villainess Mana showed up again as key characters.

Voiced by a star studded cast and a theme song Hitori by Nakajima Mika, Drag-On Dragoon and its sequel Love Red Ambivalence Black are available as Ultimate Hits versions and are sold at the same price of US$ 34.90 only.

Game Features:

  • 5 plot lines – four of them are continuations of the existing 4 plot lines from the last game, and a new one for Orochi is included this time.
