A few eager gamers have probably already spotted the news on the
official Söldner-X website a couple of days ago. Upon giving the website a fresh new look, we are now happy to present some more details about Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer at Play-Asia.com.
First work in progress screenshots revealed
Going straight to the point and what most of you have probably been waiting for, we are proud to reveal the first work in progress screenshots. A total of eight images (all of them taken from the third world
"Hyper Space Assault") are now available for download. The images reflect an approx. 35% development progress of the complete game. In other words, content of the actual game is subject to change.
Hyper Space Assault is the classic among Söldner-X's total of 4 fantastic world/space settings. It's linked with the portal from the
"Industrial Menace" underground world and the next station on the way to the dark boss.
Hyper Space Assault contains an
Open Space,
Asteroid Belt as well as
Space Fleet stage. Beautiful parallax graphics and galaxy fog effects will provide an exciting experience in this world.

General website update including Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer's Story & Features
Besides a general website facelift, which finally matches the theme of the game, the first Söldner-X details have been uncovered, including the game's story and preliminary features list.
The Story: A full prologue can be read
here and will be presented via still scenes throughout the game accompanied by a female announcer.
Preliminary feature list:
