Weekly Movie/Music update: Around 380 new J-Pop, Anime, Soundtrack & Movie releases - KAT-TUN Queen of Pirates, Macross Frontier Musume Furo OST, Ayumi Hamasaki stamps & more!
Welcome to this week's Movie/Music news roundup, containing new Japanese and Hong Kong Video and Music releases from this week listed at Play-Asia.com. Around 380 new items are covered in this week, including new J-Pop, Anime as well as Japanese, Hong Kong and Western movie releases and much more.
KAT-TUN released their third original album Queen of Pirates [ limited and standard editions] this week. Aside from tracks from their hit singles like Keep the Faith, Yorokobi no Uta and LIPS, they challenged mellow ballads to enhance their position in the pop music industry as as well rounded band.
After watching clips of Sheryl Nome's concerts in Macross Frontier, listen to her songs by getting the anime's first OST Musume Furo. The disk carries the opening and ending tracks by Maaya Sakamoto and Sheryl Nome as well as instrumentals written by Yoko Kanno, one of Japan's best music producer.
Special products that came from Ayumi Hamasaki's 10th year Anniversary campaign has arrived this week. After publishing her newest single Mirrorcle World, she released a set of stamps printed with cover photos from her album jackets. Observe the transformations of the superstar's image throughout the decade by these stamps and pride yourself as her true fan.
