Having been delayed repeatedly, moulded and remoulded time and time again, the figures finally meet the high standards of their developers and the anticipation of their collectors.
The darkly gothic 2D platform action has captured many gamers hearts through their delicate artwork and engaging storyline.
Coinciding with the release week of the series' newest DS game
Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia a series of highly anticipated action figures came out.
While
Simon Belmont and Dracula [
open mouth &
closed mouth vers] are must-have's as they are the stars of the show, other recurring characters such as
Alucard, the vampire's son who defies his father and
Succubus, one of the dark lord's most notoriously known minions are also present.
Designed to be the warrior,
Simon Belmont displays a rugged, almost rough sort of masculinity which set him apart from Dracula and Alucard.
Sporting dark brownish blond hair in this reincarnation the warrior is ready to combat both Dracula's curse and his fate.
Every part of the figure is carefully crafted to the fullest detail, from the sinewy muscles on his limbs, the pen stripes on the fur of his boots to the details on his weapons such as the Vampire Killer, wrought by the death of his ancestor's beloved upon her death.
A set of sub weapons that comes within the set includes a saber, a dagger, a cross shaped boomerang and the morning star. Other items are a jug of holy water and candles he could extinguish with his whip to collect items with.
With an extra fisted right hand part, collecters can assemble it to his main body and put more weapons into his hand when they recreate their favourite battle scene.

Coming up next is
Dracula, the anti-hero of the show and Simon's sworn enemy.
Like Simon, the dark lord's appearance changes every reincarnation but in almost all Castlevania games, he exudes an air of extreme elegance displayed only by blue bloods.
Wearing a long cape, dressed in courtly clothes, Dracula clenches his fists, bares his fangs (there is a number of
closed mouth versions) and are ready to strike up terror.
Any nobleman should have a pocket watch with them, and Dracula is not one to defy from this unwritten rule, he carries, in the package with him, an azure watch he uses to time the mortal world's ultimate demise with.
Together with him is the evil eye which he unleashes onto his enemies with and a bat which he could command, or turn into in his direst hour.

Of all the minions Dracula has residing in his dungeons,
Succubus is perhaps the most captivating.
With a sultry, seductive expression and a pair of large leathery wings on her back, she is the very image of a she-devil from horror stories.
As a demon who undoes you in an overtly sexual fashion, Succubus is well attributed in a bold outfit that consists of a leather corset and a razor sharp axe.
Every part of the she devil is constructed to proportion and to the most minute detail like the pattern of the lace she wore on her arms and the dried roses that adorned her blood red hair.
The minion obviously has people enslaved under her enchantment. The dwarfed man chained to her package is a brutal lesson you have to learn. Never cross paths with this lady unless you are completely foolproof.

Last but not least, is
Alucard, Dracula's son.
The dhampire, like his father has eternal life and an appearance that changes in every game.
While he masqueraded as a Japanese civil servant in one of the most recent games, the figure features him in his most memorable form.
Inheriting his father's patrician good looks, some of his unearthly powers, and even his sense of fashion, the ash blond proofs to be his father's demise time and time again. Taking after his mother's human bloodline, Alucard is not afraid of holy water and crosses, which he has with him in the package.
To replenish his HP when his stats are lowered, the practical young man has brought a chunk of red meat with him.
