Welcome to this week's Games Update, our weekly summary featuring all new product arrivals from the last seven days.
The lethargic period ends last week, as a torrent of new games hit the market in the last seven days. Some of them are popular ports while others are originals or continations of hot series.

The two ports are
Monster Hunter G for Nintendo Wii™ and
Death Smiles for Xbox360™. Monster Hunter 3's release on the Wii caused quite a stir, to demonstrate and let gamers get a taste of what the game is capable of, Capcom re-released Monster Hunter G with upgrades and updates.
Now you can make use of the console's network capabilities to connect with like-minded hunters and carry out challenging G class missions.

Already a hit in the arcades when it came out,
Death Smiles is a horizontal shooter that does not deal with planes, but monsters and angels who fly up the sky to confront them. Dark and gothic, the game is both exciting and visually beautiful with four cute girls as player characters and a medieval setting behind them.
Dark Spire is both old and new, play it the retro way and immerse in nostalgia or choose the modern mode where textures and graphics are updated. An orthdox RPG, the game is about character development, collecting weapons, equipping armors and slaying monsters in a classic dungeon system.

After slaying monsters, learn how to trap them by building dungeons and using baits. Be a hunter in
Nantama, help with getting monster samples for the institute.
Make use of the tama characters, your partners in your hunts. Carry out missions for the villagers and win weapons. This is an adventure where you can proceed at your own pace.
Zettai Zetsumei Toshi is out with the 3rd installment. Survive natural disasters with your physical and mental prowesses. This is a survival adventure where you see how important it is to cooperate with others, and for this, make use of your adhoc networking facility and join forces with your fellow survivors.

In the world of detectives, the legendary and the chick meets this week. Play as Kindaichi in
Yatsu Hakamura, the most famous Japanese detective in history, and catch the culprit of a massacre. Kaede meets Akeha in
Another Time Another Leaf, and they are going to solve the riddle behind the strange occurences in school.

Board games, or monopoly-like games also get their spotlight this week. Earn money, win the princess's hand and defeat all your ex-friends on the way in
Dokapon Journey. Become the student union body president and reap loads of love and popularity from the student body in
Hoshigari Empusa Portable.
