Welcome to this week's Games Update, our weekly summary featuring all new product arrivals from the last seven days. After two busy weeks, the releases has calmed down again. Although there were few new games, a series of blockbluster hits are out as budget versions, this is the best chance to get them.
The great hits such as
Little Big Planet,
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare,
Gears of War 2 and
Fable II are re-released, grab them if you have not already.
PlayStation3 Slim has come out last week, those who really wants to see what their new system is capable of, should get a copy of
Little Big Planet, fun, interactive gameplay and stunning graphics, this is a game that all owners of the PlayStation3 should have a copy.
Muramasa: The Demon Blade was Vanillaware's newest game. Colorful and very atmospheric, Muramasa takes you to a brush painted world full of ninjas, demonic monks and evil overlords. Decide on your protagonist and defeat the monsters and gods that stand in your path with your collection of Muramasa blades.
There are more weapons to choose from in
Soul Calibur Broken Destiny. This is the latest game in the series and a debut on a portable console. The Sony PSP is wonderful for bringing out the spectacular graphics and fluid animation. The Japanese versions are released a little earlier, here comes the localized English version.
Mini Ninjas don't only appear in period drama or fighters like
Soul Calibur, they are all around the world saving animals and ancient magic from an evil Samurai Warlord. Each little ninja have his/her own special skill set, utilize each of them to get the upper hand in battles. Rescue the world from the shadows.
A few new controllers and instruments have come out. The Dual Shock 3 is out with a
metallic blue and
deep red versions, get the one that represent your gaming style. The new
Logitech Drum Set is more responsive, durable and efficient, perfect for your jamming needs. It can be folded flat, so don't worry about storage.
