It's just 17 days left until the official release of the Nintendo DS™ in the US. Same as everyone who has already preordered the unit, we are very keen to get our hands on Nintendo's new handheld console. Now while we are getting close to the release, Nintendo has announced to launch an official 220V Asian model in Hong Kong on the same date as the Japanese release date (December 2nd); certainly good news for all customers living in Europe & Australia who prefer to get a 220V model.

While the release is set on Sunday, November 21st in the US we are expecting the first US version models to hit the Hong Kong market between the 22nd to 26th of November. The Japanese and Asian model consoles are expected to follow closely on December 1st/2nd. If you are looking forward to receive your Nintendo DS™ as a Christmas present, now will still be the right time to submit your preorder.
