Best music game experience... EVER!!! Better, harder, sexier, and far superior to it's other music game contemporaries such as DDR, Guitar Hero, Karaoke Revolution, Rock Band, and every other music game in between. Sure there were newer versions of IIDX available when i got this, but i love the playlist in this version! Don't bother with the crappy American rendition of this game, unless if you want to get the controller cheap! NOTE TO NEWCOMERS: The American IIDX controller is 100% compatible to the Japanese IIDX games! One more thing. If you don't import games, make sure you pick up the SwapMagic software so you can, otherwise you won't be able to play it due to regional lockout. If only they gave IIDX *GOOD* chance in North America...

Once again, a great songlist enhanced with new CS originals that deserve the detour (Regret, Suijou no Teitoku, Go Berzerk...). Yet it wouldn't be as good without all the nice little changes carried out from 10th CS to RED CS.
First of all, Another difficulties have their own difficulty ratings, instead of just copying from the ratings found in 7keys in all previous Styles. Then we have HiSpeed 5, a more-than-welcomed addition to help with the slowest songs of the pack, firstly introduced on the IIDX 13 DistorteD arcade machine. Last but not least: the customizations, allowing you to define the interface style by choosing from a variety of options that become unlocked as you play.
If you know IIDX, you'll certainly enjoy this release. Just get it now... before HAPPY SKY CS comes :D

And the series continues... "Revolutionary Energetic Diversification" is what the RED in Beatmania IIDX 11 IIDXRED stands for, and revolutionary is clearly one of the things that defines this game. Apart from the other styles of IIDX, RED introduces the score attack, similar to that of DDR's oni mode scoring, which enables more interest in those to repeat songs over and over, comparing their scores with other rivals.
The tracklist of IIDX once again astonishes players with new songs from avex tracks(The Super Eurobeat Selections), freshly made beats by konami's usual DJs such as dj. TAKA, TaQ, tatsh, etc. and, of course, returning groups such as BeForU and PlatoniX.
Overall RED is a great game to get if you're a fan of the series and also a good selection to make if you're new to the game, as the difficulty is not so hard that you'll quit early, and not so easy that you'll end up sleeping instead. Although if you have the money, it may be more profitable to get the Konami Special Edition, the game itself is still worth it to play.
