~Nicholas Tse, Charlene Choi, Fan Bing Bing. A connection with other galaxies even before Star Wars came into being; a love story that is out of this world… Tang monk TRIPITAKA (Nicholas Tse) and his three disciples - Monkey king SUN WUKONG (Chen Po-lin), Pig monk ZHU WUNENG (Kenny Kwan), and Sank monk SHA WUJING (Steven Cheung) arrive triumphantly to a hero's welcome in Shache City. Little do they know that ahead of them lays Tripitaka's most arduous challenge before he achieves deification… and it is a test that he and only he alone can overcome.

During their stay in the city, the three disciples are captured by the Root of All Evils. Tripitaka borrows the Golden Pole and tries to find a way to save them. He meets a young lizard imp MEIYAN (Charlene Choi) who is more than a visual match for Quasimodo: matted bushy hair, and the teeth of any dentist's nightmare. Meiyan falls in love with Tripitaka at first sight and devotes herself to trailing him. She even sets a love traps to ensnare him. Tripitaka unwittingly falls into the trap and, in the process, breaks the Heavenly Code.

The region is one full of monsters, strange beings and creatures of unknown origins and among them are the beautiful PRINCESS XIAOSHAN (Fan Bingbing) and her alien army. On a passing journey to Earth, her path crosses Tripitaka's and she vows her aid. Tripitaka decides to leave with the Princess.

Meiyan is heartbroken. She picks a fight with Princess Xiaoshan and, although she loses, she finally discovers her own identity as a galactic warrior, she eventually helps the princess in defeating the enemy and rescues Tripitaka and his disciples.

After the battle, Meiyan surrenders to the Celestial Court for judgement. Torn between passion and righteousness, Tripitaka rebels against the heavens to rescue the gallows-bound Meiyan. A benevolent Buddha is moved and pardons the two, on condition that they embark on a journey to the west to accomplish the Eighty-One Tasks to redeem themselves as well as to save the world.

~Anthony Wong, Gillian Chung, Charlene Choi, Daniel Wu, Steven Fung, Michael Wong, Josie Ho, Ma Wu, Jon Foo, Philip Ng. Twenty years ago, Yue Siu Bo's (Anthony Wong) Chinese Clinic was a setup for secret operations. No one believes this mythical history of the House of Fury and simply regards Siu Bo as a Chinese chiropractor. A widowed father, his son Nicky (Stephen Fung) and a daughter Natalie (Gillian Chung) learn the martial arts from their father but are skeptical of his claim to an alliterative life as a protector of secret agents. Tired of their father's bragging of a heroic past, the children stay away from him while constantly quarreling on their own. One day, Rocco (Michael Wong) arrives in his wheelchair, demanding Siu Bo for information on retired agent Tai Chi Lung. Knowing that Chi Lung foiled Rocco's mission twelve years ago, leaving Rocco crippled and jailed, Siu Bo's lips are sealed. After Rocco leaves, four of his killers arrive. Siu Bo puts up a valiant fight, but outnumbered, he is finally captured and taken prisoner. Tortured and drugged, Siu Bo reveals that data on the retired agents is hidden in his children's lucky charms. Rocco is threatens to kill Siu Bo unless the children can find Chi Lung for him. With the help of boy friend Jason (Daniel Wu) and goofy schoolmate Ella (Charlene Choi). Natalie unearths the secret data files hidden in the lucky charms. It is then that Nicky and Nataile realize Chi Lung is none other than their father's long-time friend Uncle Chiu (Wu Ma). Just when they are planning to pay Uncle Chiu a visit to enlist his help, Jason locks them up and confronts Uncle Chiu on his own. Jason's motive becomes the new mystery that Nicky and Natalie have to solve before they can save their father. But time is rapidly running out.
