description

Rescue the beautiful Ceres from a curse. The only way to stop her from losing her mind and becoming a hideous beast is by giving her the meat of Aruji. Aruji lives in the 13th tower, the place is filled to the brim with monsters, but for the sake of the maiden, a young knight Ande picks up his sword and the magical chain of Oreikalkos. Slash the monsters and deal the killing blow with the chain for extra items. Always go back to the village with the meat of the monsters, as they slow Ceres's curse down temporarily. Build a strong relationship with the girl, the more faith she has in you, the better she can fight the curse. Pick up items to make weapons and synthesize items. Solve the labyrinth in the tower to inactivate the seal that protects Aruji.

An interesting mix
What happens when you take a dating sim, God of War, ICO, Shadow of the Colossus, some stealth game and horror game aspects and an action-RPG? You get Pandora's Tower.

Though there aren't as many characters in it compared to games like The Last Story or Xenoblade (or even any of the Final Fantasy games), Pandora's Tower is a journey spent within the area known as the 13 towers. You search the tower for treasure, kill the monsters, solve the puzzles, and in the end save the girl before it's too late.

Great.
This game belongs in the same class as games like Ico, Shadow of the colossus, and Lost in shadow, in regards to the aesthetics, and story. These are games that convey a lot of different hard to explain feelings in the player, through the skillful use of carefully crafted visuals and sounds, as well as providing a unique way of telling the story.

The only con, stems from the game not having very refined game mechanics, nor combat. But, really, it makes up for this flaw in spades.

A Beautiful Journey
Pandora's Tower - Until I Return to Your Side is an absolutely beautiful game, which see's one of the main character's named Ende, embark on a journey to help restore an 18 year old girl named Ceres, back to her former self. Having been cursed by a beast while at the Harvest Festival, she has no other choice but to eat the flesh of the beasts that roam in the towers (which Ende must get for her).

Packaging - The game software arrives to you in a beautiful and classy Black Wii case, giving the sense of solitude and maturity the game will be offering. The disc is beautifully adorned and the manual too. For those who have a fetish for box and case design, you will love this for sure.

Menu Interface - The title screen gives you the simple options of either starting a New Game or Loading Game, selecting New Game will set you straight into the story and set things in motion. The field menu on the other hand has a lot to think offer, such as your items, weapons (which you can also customize in different ways), and the option of also allowing you to save your game data and exit the game, allowing you to pick up exactly where you left off (Definitely handy).

Gameplay - At first glance, having used the Classic Controller (as I felt this was a game that deserved to be played in all its glory). The button layout it brilliantly planned out, facing off against enemies is most definitely enjoyable and the controls are more then easy to adjust yourself with. The ability to roam freely, is definitely reminiscent of something such as The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess, so for those who enjoyed that, will definitely enjoy what Pandora's Tower has to offer.

Conclusion - All in all, this definitely matches up to Xenoblade, The Last Story and Zangeki no Reginleiv in every right. You absolutely can not miss out on this, another Wii exclusive, which you will be sure to love.

original and fun game !
With an original gameplay and a weird atmosphere Pandora no tou is somewhat addictive. Add to that some puzzles and fun bosses and you have a really interesting game.
