Great game for puzzlers
I was worried about purchasing this game after reading the first review here but after having it for only a few days I can already say I'm very pleased with my purchase.
The touch screen controls are simple enough but can be difficult to be precise enough with unless the puzzles are at full zoom. I prefer to use the D-pad and ABXY buttons. Despite being in Japanese, it shouldn't be hard to figure out the controls just by fiddling around with them for a few minutes.
All three puzzles have a good learning curve divided into 5 levels and within these levels the puzzles gradually get harder making it easier to get better.
You CAN correct mistakes on the second puzzle quite easily, just by tapping or holding the A button on a number for a few seconds. The third puzzle also has a useful guessing tool. You can color squares green (by tapping the color or by using the B button) to guess and if you later discover you were right, the button at the top left corner will switch all the green squares to black.
Overall I am very pleased with this game, and I believe anyone fond of puzzles (particularly picture making puzzles) should consider getting this. And while knowledge of Japanese can help to navigate the game, it is in no way necessary.

WRONG info about pikupiku
you can play each puzzle game with the controls NOT touch screen... if you want real puzzle challenges play the second and third games.
it is NOT NOT NOT touch screen only.
ENJOY!

A correction for the previous reviewer.
I was close to giving up on the second puzzle type as well until I discovered that you actually can erase mistakes. Simply touch an end of a completed link for a few seconds and that entire section will disappear. This redeemed the entire game for me.
The third set of puzzles are great as well, but switching colors can be a bit annoying. I would\'ve preferred having the L button toggle between black and white.
However, the first type of maze puzzle is definitely too simple. It feels out of place in a collection that otherwise demands quite a bit of thought.

It\'s a shame
A collection of three picture-puzzles. There\'s a LOT of puzzles (1200 total), which unfortunately are rendered almost unplayable by the interface. The first puzzle is mindlessly solving a maze by trial-and-error. The second involves creating links to connect similar numbers. It\'s a great concept that deserves a Puzzle Series remake. But it (should) involve a lot of trial-and-error and guess-and-checking... but there\'s NO option to attempt a \"guess\", NO way to undo, and not even a way to remove a link once you place it. So if you make a mistake, your only option is to exit to the menu and start over. The third puzzle is mediocre, and involves coloring tiles black or white; but the only way to change pen color is by clicking a tiny button on the touch-screen. This game is the definition of poor design, and should only be purchased by developers hoping to learn what not to do when creating games.
