Not revolution, but regeneration. The Pokémon series takes a step forward energizing the classic gameplay formula with new and interesting twists and tweaks.
This is the Pokemon game many of us dreamed of when we were kids. And for those who are new to the franchise, this is the Pokemon game you deserve to play.

The transition to 3D is smooth and natural and the multitudinous additions to the proven formula will excite even the most jaded Pokémon fanatic.
You're not alone: the game gives you a set of friends/rivals who embark on the same journey with you, though they all have their own special reasons for doing it.

I'd recommend this based on how beautiful the setting is. Gameplay is as great as ever too.

I like this better than Sun & Moon
This is the Pokemon game to get if you're more into the more traditional Pokemon formula and want to breed the best Pokemon for competitive gaming.
