This game is the best Ds game
It is the game that never over, you can get new characters from each team. I started play this game for 2 month, but I have some of the character. Tips for people who buy this game: In this game make the screan have no special scenes while you\'re hiting because it will be easier for you to use special hit that will make you win the match

Fun little tennis title.
Well, I imported this game becuase of it\'s unlikely North America release. I have not played the GBA or Playstation versions nor am I that familiar with the anmi series so I\'m not in a position to compare.

I can tell you the title is cool and fun. All the usual is here, singles, doubles, tournament play, Gamesave, etc. There\'s alot of unlockable characters you can earn.

Gameplay:
Controls are straightforward, lob, topspin and hard shots (even taunting). You will have to spend some time though figuring out how to do special shots. Each character has their own. Controls play well.

DS Touchpad Features:
You can choose your coach who will provide advice during play if you ask (touching the DS). But since I don\'t speak Japanese I don\'t understand what the hell he\'s saying. There\'s also a supermove you can execute by touching the DS but I haven\'t figured out how to do it yet. Also in one of the gameplay modes where you select your teamates, you can touch the DS and swap out characters during gameplay. It seems of limited use because most of the time you just looking at your bench or your opponents during gameplay. You can use to navigate through menues, but I don\'t count that.

You can play 1-4 players in wireless mode (from looking at the manual. I couldn\'t test this cause no one around me has a DS needless to say this game).

Conclusion:
Well I said in the review earlier I didn\'t have experience with the franchise so my review is just based on the standalone game. I like the game. It\'s fun and a little more challenging on the highest difficulty setting. I also like how your character and be K.O.ed if he looses his racket a number of times (you can turn this off if you\'d like). The character special moves are cool too. The downside would only be the limited use of the DS touchpad. I\'d say if you like tennis/anime then import this game. It probably wont come out in the U.S. and you\'ll have to wait for mario tennis or something to come out.

4 stars for a great game and because of limited DS touchscreen use.
