I bought this soundtrack mainly for the orchestral tracks, and as usual they do not disappoint. The main theme is both upbeat and exciting and upbeat to fit the sensational image of the legend of the Specter's Flute, and at the same time nostalgic and quiet to fit the quaint feeling of Mist Haley.
I would say this soundtrack compared to the rest has a much more subdued, sleepy feel.

Professor Layton and The Specter's Flute Soundtrack
This CD contains the incidental music from the fourth Professor Layton game.
The main theme is a very Jazz-style affair, with accordion, and piano, a very upeat track.
The rest of the music is a little different in style to first three Layton games in the series, and while still containing the usual accordion and music box elements, is perhaps a little more darker in tone, to suit the plot of the story.
I don't tend to listen to this Layton CD as much as The music from the first three games or the anime, but there's still enough here for a Layton fan to enjoy.
