The popular arcade shooting game Raiden III finally becomes available to play in the comfort of your own home, with new improvements such as the "Flash Shot System". To reach a higher score, you need to enhance your gaming strategy how to take down the enemies quickly. If you are fan of the series, do not miss out this title.Raiden III is a horizontal scrolling shooting game. Enemies come towards you from all directions. As primary weapon, you will have a "Vulcan Shot" for wide scale attack, "Laser" for focused firepower and "Proton Laser" for free-style sweeping attack. In addition, gamers can also choose from "Nuclear Missile", "Homing Missile" and "Radar Missile" as secondary weapons to compliment the primary weapons for an effective long and short attack.The title introduces the concept of "Offence is the best defense, kill the enemies before being attacked", together with scoring more points when one kills the enemies quickly with the "Flash Shot System". Once you can remember the positions where the enemies appear, and readily ambush them, you will be able to score up to twice the points.In addition to preserving the arcade mode, the PlayStation2™ edition also incorporates various game modes and features to further the entertainment elements! Awesome game shame about the restrictions
I love both Raiden 1 & 2.
I want 3 but its just not available
I see it was released sep 05 but its still not been released in the uk and i would happily buy the damn game from HK if i could find someone who has it in stock.

Superb Classic Shooter!
Great old school shooter for retro fans :)
This is your game if you want gameplay instead of multicolor and sweet graphics.
The bosses are very cool and its not too difficult to master them.
A worthy Raiden titel.

Another Quality PS2 Shmup, Buy It!
Great game here! Definately has an old school vibe to it. I\'ll be honest this isn\'t an Espgaluda or Ikaruga but if your a fan of shmups then this game should be right up your alley. Give it a go!

Ever heard the slogan that \"Raiden Fighters\" is \"Raiden DX on steroids\"? Now thats really true for Raiden3. If you forget about washed 3d backrounds and assimilate yourself with \"modified for today\" fast, dangerous bullet patterns, you r gonna get gameplay very similar to Raiden DX, which is ... a nice thing, when you WANT this sort of gameplay ;) Just dont expect anything like Raiden Fighters Jet, which still is my fav game of all. Still Raiden3 has deadly and very nice bullet patterns. And dont forget the all Raiden games speciality: ultra high tech mean looking bosses! (no girlies butterflies, shooting brains, and teleporting elephants). Just pure tech destruction. Gotta love it! i give it 5 stars even with this washed scrolling backround. Shmup fans are not into graphics but gameplay ;) Cheers
