Every Ranma fan must own this game!!!
Ranma 1/2 Hard Battle is probably one of my most favorite fighting games on the Super Famicom and Super Nintendo!!

This game perfectly took every cool character from the Ranma 1/2 cartoon and put them in a fighting game with great controls! The characters look just like they do in the show and has some great voice acting for a Super Nintendo.

You get to play as Ranma Male, Ranma Female, Akane, Ukkyo, Shampoo, Mousse, Genma Saotome as the panda, Gosunkugi, Kingg, Ryouga, Pantyhose Taro human form, and Pantyhose demon form. There is also a code to play as Happousai (Happi in this game) by pressing R+A+X on the VS screen. You get taken to a debug menu and can select your character.

All the special moves in this game are very easy to pull off. Some require you to continuously press a button, some require you to hold down a button and let it go, and the others require you to press multiple buttons at the same time. This is a very easy game to pick up and play!

Ranma is very colorful and has some great battling music! I love the Pantyhose battle music which is just outside Jusenkyo springs looks like.

The Japanese version of this game is far easier than the North American version. The computer doesn't cheat like in the North American version like how Akane would always counter EVERY move you do. In the Japanese version, she is fairly easy to beat, no matter the difficulty.

I highly recommend reading Japanese to play this game, otherwise the options for button laytouts will be very confusing.

Fantastic game by MASAYA!!!
