The best Rockman game!
I personally prefer this game on Nintendo/Famicom, but the Playstation version did have a lot to offer.

For starters, Rockman 3 is clearly the best Rockman game of all. 8 unique master robots, after beating them, you battle all 8 bosses from Rockman 2 in rogue form, battle your prototype brother, Blues (Protoman), and make your way through Dr. Wily's castle. The music, graphics, gameplay, and introduction of new Rockman mechanics were all perfect. The only issue I had with the game was that the music was all a bunch of WAV files recorded too quiet and the sound effects being too loud. The music plays cleaner, but the sounds just sound like they messed it up. It is hard to explain.

The Playstation version added a few things like helpers pointing to which way to go and little tips that tell you what to do on certain screens. Another really cool thing was boss time attack mode. You start in the room before the boss after selecting your target on the stage select. You can get the energy and go after the boss, or just go straight to the boss. After beating the boss, you get his weapon and choose another boss. It is all timed. I don't know if it actually saves your best time, but it is fun to play through. You also unlock pictures and other Rockman content which is nice as a bonus. Bottom line, if you love Megaman, your collection is not complete without this game!
