Very different.
Its great, almost like an early Home/Sims style game, but well worth a look into.

Better learn japanese!
I admit I couldn't get far in this game, I can't read japanese. But from revirew I was lead to believe there was a lot of freedom in this game but al you have to do is one single task each day and if you can't read what it is all you can do is aim at things and press a button. You can't mess with the guy in any real way its not like the sims or even seaman. I bet this would be a great game if it was translated but as is its just not worth it.
