Item Description

Rune Factory deviates from the usual Harvest Moon series by incorporating the sword and sorcery RPG elements into the gameplay and Rune Factory 3 takes this another step. You can transform into a monster. No, not a wolf in a full moon night, but a golden Mokomoko, a fluffy lamb.Maise the amnesiac hero is in the form of a Mokomoko when Cia found him. Not only did she take him in, she lent him farmland and got him ready for an adventure. Defeat monsters in the dungeon, fill the darkest caves with greenery and marry one of the pretty bachelorettes.Turn yourself into a Mokomoko to win the ladies' favours, what they were unwilling to tell you when you were human, they may tell you when you are a fluffy beast. Just remember to keep this a secret from the ladies.

Its so beautiful
I've been playing this game since I took it out of the shipping package. Its a beautiful and great addition to the Rune Factory series. This game I know I'll be playing for weeks possibly months. Buying this game was one of the best ideas yet for me.

Best Rune Factory out... yet
And another game of Harvest Moon spinoff series, "Rune Factory", has arrived. You take control of Mais, who appears in the village of Shialence within the Norad Kingdom. The village is more lively than of those featured on the DS before. Inhabitants of Shialence have improved AI, which means they travel around town, talking to other people (and you, if you join in) and give gifts to each other.

There are numerous differences and improvements over Rune Factory 2. Here's to list a few:

-Time won't stop indoors (that's right, the only way to "pause" the game is to open the menu
-Items such as grass, weeds or rocks appear on fields every hour
-The weather can change during the day, even multiple times during a day
-You can go out during a hurricane
-You can chop stumps using the Lvl 1 Axe
-You can not die permanently, losing all HP in a dungeon sends you to the hospital
-You can ask any villager to join you in your travels to the dungeons or wherever you go, given that they like you enough to accompany you

Overall, the game is really interesting to play and it features Mei from RF1 and Yue from RF2 (even though you cannot marry either). A must buy for fans of the series and heartily recommended for all others as well.

A good improvement
Even though the basics are still pretty similar, but there are a lot of improvements which make the game even funner and more challenging than its predecessors.

The new AI system makes the characters more alive than ever, they'll move and left their store whenever they want even though it's not closing time yet, they'll react for the sudden weather's change and they'll show their concern if you've ignored them for a week or more.

Not to mention other stuffs like new skills, new weapons/accessories upgrade system, better quests script and relationship progression, battle companion and (wireless) dungeon challenge, which make the game still enjoyable even after you've completed the main storyline.

Best Rune Factory on DS
Same overall system as previous DS RF with numerous improvements such as new weapons, transformation, dating and more.
Practically no bugs and little slow down compared to previous titles.
