A must have for fans of the series.
I'm going to be brief about it; this game may not be for everyone, but those it IS for most likely will enjoy it tremendously.

Graphics fans, look elsewhere. This game is not for you. It's not ugly by any means, but you will be disappointed.

The game sports a very fitting soundtrack, helping one immerse himself in the game.

By far, Samurai Dou 4 presents the deepest gameplay mechanics of the series. Your good or bad deeds carry over from one playthrough to the next; if you've slain uncounted policemen in your first run, the second will have much more numerous criminals. If you died in battle, you may well find someone with your weapon walking the streets on the next playthrough!

This game is short and sweet, and meant to be played repeatedly for multiple endings. You will in fact spend much longer on this than you will on average on other games of this same generation.

The language barrier may be strong, but it's not impossible to overcome. If you're into Japanese history, you'll find yourself enjoying it even without understanding what's going on.
