Great Controller for 2d games
The only real fault I can find with this controller is that it doesn\'t have analogue sticks or vibration... but that doesn\'t really matter does it?
For 2d games, emulators and whatever else you can think of, the pad and the buttons on this thing can\'t be beaten. I only wish it were R1 and R2 on the face of the controller, and not, as the previous user mentioned, L1 and R1. Otherwise no regrets- love it.
The Darkstalkers cards aren\'t bad for novelty\'s sake either.

Best PvP control pad with slight flaws
Flaws: Note to Capcom vs SNK 2. You will find the pad is unable to response to select the assigned 3rd character (by pressing both HP and HK button) during the character order screen, player have no choice but to order the character by selected character.
It took me quite some time to discover the work around for this flaws. You need to also assign R2 button as HP, then you press R1 and R2 in order to select the assigned 3rd character.
Also, it would be nice if the L1 were R1 and R1 were R2, then the default button placement will be same as original PS2 controller without reconfigure on the button on the game. It is rather annoying to reconfigure the button whenever we swap the controller between sega and original pad on the same game when we have multiple players on PvP.

The Best
Yeah I unfortuantely paid full price for mine, but I don\'t regret it one bit. The Saturn pad is with out a doubt my favorite, it\'s like it was custom made for Capcom 2D fighters, and this version is as good as it gets on the PS2 (though I think there is also a metallic silver one).

Greatest Pad Ever
To echo a previous review, this isn\'t made to resemble the Saturn pad, it is the Saturn pad. The buttons react the same, feel the same and the D-Pad throws out fireballs and dragon uppercuts with ease.
I\'m using this with a PS2/USB convertor for emulation and it rocks.
