Koei Tecmo and Omega Force are bringing the story of the entire 2013 anime to PlayStation consoles, as well as a number of scenarios that place the spotlight on popular characters that are being developed alongside. All our favorite characters will be represented by the same voice actors used in the anime.
Players will be able to lock into battle against a wide variety of titans. Each titan will have its very own personality, creating a wide range of battle situations that forces the player to choose how they approach it. Your 3D Maneuver Gear’s blades will dull and gas will deplete as you fight, so the game also incorporates a weapon parts exchange element.
Players will use the '3D Maneuver Gear' to zip freely around the sky and battle titans. By using type of action, you can rush quickly to other parts of the battlefield. Your 3D Maneuver Gear's blades will dull and gas will deplete as you fight, so the game also incorporates a weapon exchange element. In order to defeat a titan, it is necessary to attack its neck which means you'll need to attack from high altitudes and defeat titans by first destroying body parts like arms and legs before issuing the killing blow.
Additionally, with the state of battle constantly changing, you will noticed differences within the city such as walls and roofs collapsing as a result of battle. When you come across AI allies, you’ll be able to fight together as companions, as well as provide them instruction for various actions.

this game is awesome i really love it , i wish if the english version well come sonner
+Each character is unique.
+ It feels just like the anime.
+Swinging around and killing titans is exhilarating.
-Framerate suffers during heavy action.
-Default controls are not intuitive.
-No english subtitles.
I know it's a Japanese version and the english release is in the works, but for as popular as Attack on Titan is in the west. It is shame we couldn't get some subs during the story. Especially when the story bits have already been subbed in the anime.
Great gameplay overall. If you can't read Japanese, you are going to be missing out on all the awesome story bits and struggling with menus. I am happy with my purchase though, and I will buy it again when it comes to the west.
Despite looking repetitive its satisfying to kill each and every titan. Once you master the combat and movement system, you can totally destroy and titan and its limbs consecutively without touching the ground. Movement is awesome, its very satisfying to gain momentum moving around in the city.
You ride a horse outside the wall and purchase better horses. You can upgrade abilities and both upgrade and craft new weapons, hilts, and maneuver gear.
There are ten playable characters + one playable male titan. Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Levi, Hanji, Connie,
Krista, Sasha, Jean, and Erwin. Each character has different attributes, strengths and weaknesses (e.g. Levi and Mikasa do major damage).
I wish they included Petra as she's probably the most aesthetically pleasing female character besides a smiling Mikasa(if that even exists).
In story mode you alternate between Mikasa, Levi, Armin, and Eren. It's a pretty good story mode that covers the major events through season one of the anime and ends with the female titan arc. The final battle between titans was awesome as you could completely destroy the city while fighting. Cutscenes are well done an interesting. I recommend killing all the titans and complete the sub objectives instead of just doing the main objective, as it lengthens the play time.
I did see a lot of poor textures on screen when I stood still and looked into the forest, some strange intersecting lines would appear. Though you are meant to play this game with a sense of urgency and speed so it's not a big deal, you'll likely not notice this.
Multiplayer/Co-op hasn't been included yet, but I hope it comes soon. Saving you friend from a titan would be much more satisfying than saving an NPC.
In its current state(pre multiplayer) I'd give it a 9/10.
I would recommend holding off until co-op gets added. However, if you are a big fan get this game now and enjoy slicing titans with your favorite character!
great game very happy with the purchase
