Not for beginners
Puts you into a progression against stronger opponents with each game. If you're a beginner, you quickly become frustrated at being beaten soundly every time, and quit playing.
The multi-player option looks interesting, but since nobody I know owns this game and I don't have a DSi, I can't try it out.
The rules are accessible at all times, but since they're in Japanese, it's very difficult to understand what you're being told.
This game is definitely not for beginners.

Not for beginners
Puts you in a progression against strong opponents, which grow stronger as you win. Since a beginner has zero chance against even the weakest, I quickly became frustrated and quit playing.
The multi-player option would be interesting, but since nobody I know owns this game, and I don't have a DSi, I can't try this feature out.
The rules can be accessed at all times, but since they're in Japanese, it's very difficult to understand them.
