Love this game, bought it twice!!!
This is just like being in a John Woo and/or Chung Yow Fat Hong Kong Action movie. Both these guys made a ton of gangster/cop/gun-action movies. The best ever made, they made together, The Killer, and Hard Boiled.
Another is A Better Tomorrow. They made similar movies serpratly like Full Contact, that feel the same but never have the gun-play perfection that Woo and Fat bring to the screen when they work together. This game has that perfection. Its graphics are not bad, but they are not great. WHO CARES? THIS GAME IS FUN! I am sure you have heard of Max Payne. The developers of Max Payne love these old John Woo movies, and said in interviews that is what they wanted to make, was an American style Hong Kong John Woo nior gun-play gangster/cop game. (I say Hong Kong John Woo, becuase he came to the USA to make movies and most of them are terrible and they were nothing like his Hong Kong masterpieces).

John Woo was THE direcotr to pioneer slow motion usage in moves. John Woo was THE director who made gun-action cool in movies. Before it was Rambo or Commodo just holding a machine gun, standing in place and guys would fall done. It wasnt until Jphn Woo that we saw guys holding two guns. It wasnt until John woo that we saw dynamic gun fights. This game translates all those things he pioneered and puts it into a game. Sadly this game is ten years too late for people to trully apreaicate it. The technieqs and gun-play that John Woo pioneered are now common place in just about any every movie and TV show of the last 10-15 years. You see John McLane in Die Hard run at the bad guys with two pistols in his hands. John Woo and Chung Yow Fat did that first, 10 years before Die Hard was ever made. So if this game feels tired, its only becuase you have watched too many movies, and played to many games that have borrowed from Woo.

Good game
It seems the environment is so familiar to me. Game play is great as well as a good environment design.

Frenetic action
If that's what you're looking for, it's definetly a game for you. It is allways fun to destroy every object in the scenario and throw them on the enemies.
