a classic game that stands test of time
This game is brilliant. They take a 2d fighter and turn it into polygons, one of the first to ever do this was the Street Fighter EX series. I just got this game in October 2010 brand new from this site and I must say it
was a great find. The game stood the test of time, as do all great Street Fighter games. The classic half circle fireballs are all reproduced in polygonal glory with great play control. The only thing that sucks is the jumps don't include flips like they usually do in Street Fighter, that makes the game lose a bit of its original feel. Lets face it flipping jumps are fun in Street Fighter and Contra. Could you imagine no flipping jump in Contra? The game would be half as fun. The same goes with the Street Fighter series, it needs the flipping forward jumps for Ryu and Ken. Otherwise brilliant game with great classic music. They dont make games with classic game music anymore. And now you can play on PS3 with a 6 button pad. Thats awesome.
