The last NDS srw game
As the last srw for SRW game, This game maximised the graphic, bgm, and gameplay. The mecha roster for L is a good 1.

Excellent entry in the SRW series
(+)Graphically the most impressive DS era SRW.
(+)Original mecha designs are fresh, rather resembling the Brave series.
(+)Excellent soundtrack.
(+)Lacks the bugs present in W.
(+)Squad system is handled far better than K.
(+)Overall more challenging than the other DS era SRW's.
(-)Several recycled graphical bits dating from J and W, which look really out of placed next to the newer graphics.
(-)Uneven difficulty curve. Some of the mid and lategame stages are almost insultingly easy, while others - I'm looking at you, Stage 22 Minerva Route - are hair-rippingly hard.
(-)Unfortunately, there's no picking between the two originals - you're stuck with Rushbird, and don't get Straybird until ~2/3 of the way through the game.

Given that W is out of production, if you're looking for a SRW game on DS, this is easily the better pick of the two.
