However, one day, when the children reached 13, Norun's messenger appeared to inform Etos that the two children are born with the power of Narikiri- they are people who acquire skills just by dressing in the costumes of a certain job class.Become one of the children and use your powers to help others and adventure in this great big world. Great game!
Another jewel for the Tales series, the Phantasia remake is also great.

Overall, an enjoyable and re-playable experience.
With a simple yet capturing story line that further deepens and clears up the original "Tales of Phantasia" game, "Narikiri Dungeon Cross" is installment to the Tales of Series to be remembered.
The fast-paced battle system, delightful colored environment made completely three-dimensional from the original, and characters that one becomes easily attached to, the replay value of this game becomes unavoidable.
Although, the production of the game could have been worked on a bit longer as the quality of the game compared to the entire series feels as if this particular game was rushed in the making. Dungeons could have been made trickier, battle and field effects could have enhanced, and obvious bugs could have been fixed.
When looking at the enhancements of the included bonus of the original game on the same UMD, the newly added features to the original seemed to have more effort and effect put into them then this new installment which was supposed to be the main focus.

Although when looking at both sides, the voice acting, soundtrack, gameplay, and overall completely stump any petty reason to not get this game.

Highly recommended for anyone wanting a high speed fighting experience of so many different classes and not just to all typical JRPG players.
This game is indubitably enjoyable to all.

A new & remake ...
I am not yet getting myself into the game, but for what I have tested, this UMD worth the price for 2 RPGs at the same disc.

Probably because I have spent to much time on PS3 with Tales of Vesperia, I don't really surprise the graphics of Narikiri Dungeon, but the battle system still rocks, its similar to Tales of Destiny remake in PS2.

My GBA will get no more love from now on.
My brother and I are both enjoying these excellent remakes, Narikiri Dungeon X and Tales of Phantasia X and have been fighting over our PSP since we got them! The voice acting, gameplay and visuals are all wonderfully refreshed, and aside from the odd glitches during cutscenes in Phantasia X, works smoothly on the PSP. I recommend it for any RPG lover, especially for fans of the Tales of~ series.

(P.S. the glitches are normally sound related with missing or misplaced voiceovers, and sometimes long pauses occur, though only rarely, and so far only for the Phantasia remake. I suspect it also has something to do with my more than gently used PSP--in short, nothing too awful or worrysome)

Two games for the price of one?! That's TWO games for the price of ONE. On one hand, you get a remake of a game that's a bit under the radar. On the other hand, you get yet another remake to the game that started the Tales brand. It's a very good way to connect the two games together as well. I would recommend this to those who don't mind buy remake after remake lol

I'd recommend this game, period.
