Best Zelda ever
This game will keep you entertained for lots of hours cause is was designed as an open world game where you can explore every inch of the map. In a few words, is meant to be one of the best games of the year.

One For The Ages
The last full-fledged Zelda game I played to completion was Ocarina of Time on the N64. I tried my hand at Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, but neither of them really sucked me in. Breath of the Wild is not your traditional Zelda game and instead make radical changes to the Zelda formula, for better and for worse.

The game has an amazingly large open-world and has very little in the way of indicators or markers to tell you where to go. Nintendo has lovingly crafted Hyrule and wants you to explore it, rather than making a beeline for the objective marker like in so many other games. Exploration and discovery is almost always rewarded with finding something new and/or interesting and I can't count how many times I went off the beaten path on my way to something I marked in the distance, and I have never regretted it.

Quite possibly the biggest knock against the game is the inconsistent frame rate, but it rarely if ever actually interferes with gameplay. It happens most often in times or areas densely populated with grass, trees and other living things.

I can't stop playing it even well after 70 hours of play time and when I'm not playing it, it's all I can think about. It's not your trational Zelda game and that might be a strike against it for many people, but as someone who grew a bit tired of the same Zelda formula the past few games have been using ever since Ocarina of Time, Breath of the Wild has been a breath of fresh air.

90+ hours in
So far it has been great. I have the switch version and it is my only game on the switch so far. I have never completed a Zelda game in the past but I am enjoying this one immensely. I am always trying to find time to pull out the Switch and play but it isn't a pop in and pop out kinda game - you really need to be free for at least an hour to play it.

Huge map and lots of little side quests to keep you busy and it is a blast to try and find any surprises or tricks before you hear about them elsewhere.

Great Game!
Great System!
Get it!

Hey, that's pretty good!
This is an open world game done right. You can choose to tackle this game anyway you want. Whether its' finding shrines, looking for secrets and special armor or you can tackle it like I did (only did the main story missions). You can even do the story missions in any order you want. And you will still get tons of hours out of this game. My only issue with it is the occasional drop in frame rate. But even then, this game is pretty good. I'm not an open world game fan. I'm not even a Zelda fan, but I still enjoyed this game to the fullest. I didn't buy the Switch version, so don't ask me about that one.
