Weekly Games/Toys update: Tokyo Bus Guide 2, Fighting for One Piece, Final Fantasy X / X-2 Ultimate Box, Taito Memories Joukan Special Package (PS2™), RockMan Dash 2 (PSP™), DigDug Digging Strike (NDS™) & more


Around 15 new game releases have been published in this second September week. The biggest PlayStation2™ sellers have been Bandai's anime based Fighting for One Piece, Success' bus simulation game Tokyo Bus Guide 2 (Japanese and Asia version), Square-Enix's Final Fantasy X / X-2 Ultimate Box and their Ulimate Hits budget reprints as well as the Korean version of Taito's Taito Memories Joukan (shipping including a special package to hold both volumes).

Handheld highlights in this week include Capcom's RockMan Dash 2 for PSP™ and the Nintendo DS™ releases DigDug Digging Strike as well as Touch de Rakushou! Pachinko Sengen: Rio de Carnival.

Looking forward, it's going to be a huge release week. Play-Asia's top preorder product next week is Square-Enix's movie release Final Fantasy VII Advent Children (available as First Print Limited Edition DVD release, UMD™ Video release and Advent Pieces: Limited DVD Box Set). Our shipment is currently confirmed to arrive coming Tuesday (September 13th) and all preorders are likely to be dispatched on official street date.

Please note that we have closed preorders of the Advent Pieces: Limited DVD Box a few weeks ago but are expecting to have a few dozen extra units back on sale upon release due to a number of cancellations. The item is completely presold at most of the popular Japanese vendors.


Video game wise, it's going to be a top week for handheld fans with release of Nintendo's Gameboy Micro™ and Sony's Ceramic White PSP™ Edition, along with a number of quality releases. Here's a quick pre-summary of all highlights:
