SHINING RESONANCE

PlayStation®3 [RPG]

The ancient continent of Alfheim, the land of the gods, was once home to the world's dragons but they have since had their souls crystallized and scattered throughout the world. But not all dragons have been lost...

The existence of a new dragon, and the game's protagonist, 'Shining Dragon (Yuma) Irvan' has been confirmed by the great powers within the world. The imperial army, church forces, and the Dragon Slayers themselves are all in pursuit of Irvan's untold power.

Despite the odds Ivan's power was saved from the clutches of his pursuers by a single maiden, a memory that would not soon be lost. Shining Resonance tells the beautiful tale of a reunion between a young girl and a dragon, as well as the foretold miracle to follow.

The battle system is in real-time, where you'll be able to control any one of the four characters as you fight. Each character has special attacks, magic, weapons, and a unique overall combat flavor. What is notable about Shining Resonance's combat is how fluidly the player enters a battle: when you encounter a monster on the map and engage, the battle will seamlessly begin on the same field.

The ideas of music and nature are heavily linked with dragons in the Shining Resonance mythos. The elements of nature are wielded by 'Dragners', who will make up your party and fight using magical weapons - which all have their concept design inspired by musical instruments. The BAND system introduces the concept of 'Rune Songs' which are party-wide buffs that change their effects depending on which character is leading, or the 'Center', of the song.

FUSHIGI NO CHRONICLE FURIKAERIMASAN KATSU MADEWA

PlayStation®4 [Rogue-like]

So for those of you who felt like the roguelike genre wasn't unforgiving enough meet Mystery Chronicle where with every turn that passes the screen forcibly scrolls sideways, as the world gets slowly swallowed up by a mysterious light known as the 'Shine Raid.' If the hero touches the light, the game is over.

The concept itself is not new as you need not look any further than PC game One Way Heroics which is considered the inspiration, as well as the base, of the game by producers Yuichiro Saito and Yoshinori Terasawa.

Outside of the forced-scrolling mechanic Mystery Chronicle will play much like like Shiren the Wanderer and other and Mystery Dungeon titles. So while being chased by impending doom your hero must battle enemies blocking his path, pick up items dropped on the map, and invade dungeons that suddenly appear!

There will be more than 20 playable classes in Mystery Chronicle, which are unlocked by using points earned while playing. Each class has a different set of starting equipment and ability scores, as well as unique skills they can learn.

One really cool feature of the game is the ability to assign game worlds a name, as well as visit past worlds. Before setting out each time a world will be created with the terrain, items, and enemies being generated based on the name you gave it. Players across games are free to either visit the same worlds time and again by entering the same names, or they can choose to set out on a new adventure by providing a different name for their world.

In order to make your randomly generated world even more unique you'll come across various random events in the game. These events could be anything from meeting new allies and leveling up, to getting ambushed by thieves and temporarily increase item drop rates.
