Item Description

Yakuza 4 picks up the story of Yakuza 3 one year later and takes the player back to Tokyo. The story starts when a man is shot to death in the ruling territory of the Tojo Clan, the organisation that has featured in all games in the series to date. A small gang which belongs to Tojo Clan try to establish what happened and their leader is soon found stabbed to death. These events cause a heated battle between four men over money, power, status and honour. The truth becomes apparent as the lies, betrayals and entwined stories are revealed and when these 4 unflinching men get together, the new legend of Kamurocho is born.

Great Game
Excellent graphics and innovative story gameplay. Get to use 4 characters with totally different fighting styles. Lots of area to explore yet it doesnt derail you from the game play. Highly recommended for yakuza gta mafia fans.

More of Yakuza
More of Yakuza 3, with 4 playable characters. No cut contents for NA this time which is good. Story pacing is better, the cutscenes are great and I should note that the minigames (while some are fun) are still as frustrating as ever. This is going to suck out a lot of hours in your life if you're going for 100%.

:D Best game in the series...
In a series this good, being the best means a lot. This game is great in many respects, specially the story, which is now told from many points of view.
Besides that, the game has the most realistic looking real-life likeness ever... (hair slickness not withstanding)

The Epitome of Japanese Video Games
This game strikes the perfect balance between action and storyline. The characters are introduced and then reveal their personal characters to the player as the story proceeds. It is touching, interesting, and simply the epitome of Japanese video games. The engaging nature of this game is brilliant and far supersedes any American attempts. I loved every minute of Yakuza 3 and even more so with Yakuza 4. Amazing purchase! The Yakuza series will eternally be my favourite Japanese series. And thank you Play-Asia for being the provider of such amazing quality games to players around the world.

Better than Yakuza 3 with all mini games preserved!
The sequence to the popular Yakuza series exclusive to PS system finally released with English version available to the fans who are not mastering Japanese language well. The great thing about this part 4 series over the previous part 3 is that most of the mini games are well localized and preserved. Yakuza series fans like me for sure won’t miss this localized version despite I have owned the Japanese version released one year ago. It’s not boring at all to replay the whole game with English language subtitle and texts which certainly gives you a better idea of the storyline especially for those non Japanese speakers. I’m looking forward to Yakuza 5 (Ryuga gotoku : Of the End), coming up soon in June 2011. Hopefully the 5th part of the series will soon be localized and released about a year after the Japanese version like all of its predecessors.
