Cute juxtaposed with the uncertainty brought by darkness: Nippon Ichi Software brings us Yomawari, the story of a young girl looking for her missing sister and dog in an eerie, nighttime town.
When the unnamed young girl loses her pet dog her older sister goes into the night in search of him. But when neither return home it is up to our young protagonist to venture into the once-familiar town, now shrouded by the darkness of night.
The darkness brought by the night is a crucial gameplay mechanic as it hides everything worth finding and exploring - including your sister and dog. With the use of her flashlight the young girl can uncover the secrets hidden by the night, and even enter parts of the town only open at night.
Your sister is not the only thing hidden by the night, there are strange 'terrors' lurking. On the dark streets, black figures stand still under the roadside street lights, or are they behind you? If you hit them with your light, you might just see their true colors, but do you really want to...?

good game!
Yomawari: Night Alone is an experience, a small and great story full of details in its gameplay, graphics, music and atmosphere, focused on a girl and her unconditional love for her sister and the fear of a small girl in the background . This is a game with a great execution, which is limited to what you want to offer and does not fail, and that I personally enjoyed very much. It's a game that, even if I spend a little tiptoe between the big titles, deserves an opportunity and I think it will please even those who are not very friends of the genre.
