Best 2-D platform game on the N64 library!!!
Great graphics, great music, fantastic gameplay, great stages, great characters, awesome boss battles! This is everything that defines a perfect platform game!!!
Their is no fair way to review this game, it is simply one of the best games ever made! Very addicting. Because it is quite short (50 stages), you can play it over and over again! Every stage is different, so it never gets old! My favorite part in the whole game is the battle against Cerberus alpha as he chases you being on a cat with his motorcycle fully loaded with powerful missiles and crazy lasers! The music and background is just unbelievable. Phoenix gamma is another boss where he flies on his eagle with all kinds of crazy weapons and lasers! To top off all the amazing gameplay, each stage contains a yellow gem that you use for the ending. The more gems you have, the more of the ending you can see. Get all the gems in every stage (the bosses require you to beat them without getting hit), get an average A rank, then enter the ending stage to find the last gem to see Marina in her new form!
You will keep hearing "PUNI" "YAAAA" over and over and love it! I personally like the English one better because of the voice acting, but this game is so good, I didn't even notice.
