The promise to stay with you for a thousand years is Shinee's gift to their fans this Christmas. 1000 Nen, Zutto Soba ni Ite is the band's second Japanese original song. For a band that's famous for their dance beats, this is a new attempt for them in many ways, they slow down their rhythm so that they can focus on expressing their feelings through the music. The boys want to portray the emotions that come from the deepest places in a person's heart. These are the emotions that won't change no matter how many years have passed. The second track Kimi ga iru sekai is a ballad that combines the piano melodies with a comforting tempo.
