This adventure game is adapted from Akagawa Jirou's classic mystery novel Yasoukyoku – Hon ni Manekaereta Satsujin (Nocturne – Books that beckon murder) that contains two separate detective stories. The stage is set in Nonomiya Library, a mansion hidden amongst the trees in a darkened forest where a collection of books related to death are stored. These books have a tendency of jinxing their readers into disastrous events, and it is up to the hero, a university finalist to reveal the answers to the mysteries.The game utilizes the DS functions such as using both screens and the touch pen. This is a game where you can read an engaging novel and solve crimes along side the hero. Welcome to the beautifully tragic world of Akagawa Jirou.
