Aleste compilation almost perfect
A game collection by M2 what can I say! They do pour a lot of effort into their games and I am happy to support them. I must admit I was hesitant at first about this title given it was missing Musha Aleste and Robo Aleste (which I both wish to see on Switch) but it turns out these games stand on their own reasonably well and quite enjoyed the gameplay and the good use of borders with gadgets / information. I would agree with others M2 deserves our support and I hope they can keep releasing games and some other great arcade titles I used to play in the arcades during the 80s and 90s.

Buy this game now!
The Aleste video game series are one of the best SHMUP ever made. This collection includes many games from the Aleste series including the newest game in the franchise GG Aleste III, which was released in 2020.
All the games in this completion have special options where you can customize them according to your preferences: make the game easier with Easy Mode, Debug Mode, Screen Adjustment, Adaptive Difficulty, among other adjustments.
If you like shooters or you want to experience this genre this game is must have in your collection, so get it while you still can!

Just about perfect
I'm only just now discovering my love for old school shooters (meaning 8 or 16 bit shmups from the 80s and 90s) but this collection, especially GG Aleste 3, has got to be the best of them all. Definitely the best on Switch, maybe even the best if you include emulation and actual old consoles.

I sat on this for a full year waiting for a western/English version that is probably not coming. DON'T BE LIKE ME! Get this game before it's out of print and going for hundreds on eBay. Even if you're intimidated by the Japanese menus, most of it is still in English and the rest is easy to figure out with a quick internet search or just by mucking around.

If you own a Switch, buy it now.

Aleste Collection
As a fan of Compile shooters since I played GG Aleste 2 on Game Gear as a kid, I couldn't be more happy with this collection. The Master System games as well as the Game Gear games are presented perfectly and GG Aleste 3 is to me, as a fan of the previous games, really the culmination of the series. I really cannot believe it is a Game Gear game. All praise to M2!!!

This is awesome
I got it to play on something larger than GG Micro but still handheld. It is fun and beautiful!
