All Things Parasyte! The Maxim and Live Action Film!

The first box of the Parasyte TV-show plus the first part of the live-action movies are on pre-order!

Parasyte is the story of 17-year-old Shinchi Izumi and his right hand, which he starts calling Migi. They form a complicated relationship that over time becomes closer and more trusting, although they don't always agree on their motifs and actions.

It also shakes up his school life as Migi starts to change Shinchi's feelings towards his girlfriend Satomi. They get estranged as his hand starts to play a bigger role in his life than her. Things get really complicated when others like Migi show up and start to threaten Shinchi's family and friends.

They're alien parasites that take over their hosts and eat humans btw.

Part Carpenter's The Thing, part high school drama and a good dose of Cronenberg's body horror makes this anime stand out amongst its competitors. The unusual premise enables the story to go into unique places, put the protagonists into interesting moral dilemmas and ask philosophical questions. If you enjoy an unpredictable narrative and a refreshing lack of clichés, Parasyte is exactly what you need!

The Box set collects the first 12 episodes of season one, that is airing at the moment on Japanese TV. Pre-orders are for March 18th.

Please note that these are the original language versions. Once an English subtitled version is released, we will inform you.

Although Parasyte is by far older than Attack on Titan, they share a similar publishing and adaptation policy at the moment. Both have an ongoing TV show and a 2-part real-live movie coming up, with the first one of Parasyte's films already out on DVD and Blu-ray and the second part scheduled for release on April 25, 2015.
Attack on Titan's two films will be released later this summer and it might just be the only movie that has a giant burger dedicated to its antagonist!
The movie topped the box office in Japan upon release and was only beaten by The Last: Naruto the Movie. Pre-orders are for April 29th.
