description
Aoishiro is an adventure game that sets stage in both the modern world and the mythical Japanese world. The story is told from the point of view of the shojo (or the young girls) about how their close friendships evolves into something akin to romantic love. The colors and details put into the graphics and character designs are upgraded along with the event scenes. It pushes the graphical color tuning abilities of the Playstation2 to the maximum, aside from color and details, the sounds and camera angles give the gamers a feeling that they, themselves are truly situated in the game and in the shoes of the characters. The game consists of around 200 event graphics and during the game, the players can call up the gallery to revise these beautiful pieces of artwork.

Very good visual novel with lots of beautiful CGs that yuri fans should not miss!
Characters, story, graphic, system, voice, and music all are good. I'd recommend this to anyone who like yuri or like visual novel with good story and (almost) all-girl casts.
The story is long and the routes are complex. There is a flowchart built into the game so you'll never get lost.
Every conversation is full voice. (I love Kohaku's voice so much.) The background music is pleasant to listen and fitting. The opening, ending, and theme songs are absolutely wonderful! The full version of opening and ending songs are played at the end of the game's grand route.
More than that, there is an English patch for anyone who is yet fluent with Japanese.

Good visual novel with lots of beautiful CGs
The story, graphic, voice, music, and characters all are good.
If you would like to play yuri vn, this one is recommended.
The story is long and the routes are comples but it's easy to see where you are and (sometimes) where are you going with the built-in flowchart.
In addition, there is a fan-translated English patch out there, so you can enjoy the full story even though your Japanese is still not good enough.

Definitely worth buying
Being a visual novel with girls only (okay, there's a monk), you don't have to be a yuri fan to like this. It's an excellent visual novel with an epic storyline and music. Should not be missed.

Good yuri title
For those wanting a yuri visual novel you'll find a good one here. Both this and Aoi Shiro are highly recommended for yuri fans.

No title
For fans who liked the first visual novel, Akaiito.
The SuperLite version has an alternate cover on the other side featuring Nami and Ayashiro (the image used on their site during April Fools'), so there's no need to go hunting for the original release if you don't like the retail cover shown in the picture.
