Item Description
It is an authentic joystick that adopted button and lever made by Sanwa Electronics Co., Ltd. We can enjoy the realism of arcade game with the product "retro freak". The push button switch adopts "Faston terminal" equivalent to the arcade house. In addition, the 8 direction lever is a high-performance type that adopted "35 mm lever ball" that fits the palm of your hand and "mechanical switch" which responds quickly to fine lever operation. Also, it can be used not only in retro freaks but also in personal computers.

Arcade Stick Retro Freak Amendment
I talked with CyberFreak about their buttons and also looked for myself. They are in fact regular Sanwa buttons and not the silents. It seems that Sanwa has changed the way the buttons have felt over the years.
Anyways. If you like buttons to have absolutely no mush, you may want another stick.
I also added weight to it and that helps it to stay in your lap.
With the added weight mod, I love this stick and actually now prefer it and the newer Sanwa buttons to the older ones in my madcatz.

Arcade Stick Retro Freak
This is a very nice arcade stick. I believe the sanwa joystick is the same as the one of my madcatz fightstick pro. It is also very sturdy and connects with my PC without a problem.
I do have a few complaints about this product though.
1. The buttons are mushier than other sanwa buttons. I believe they are either silent buttons or not sanwa buttons. I sent a message to cybergadget and hopefully they'll get back to me.
2. It is a lot of hassle to open. It appears that you can just unscrew the metal plate and access the inside, but you cannot. I think you have to take off the rubber feet in order to get to the scews underneath.
3. It is a little lighter than I would like it to be. When you have it on your lap, it can slide around, which can mess you up.
Anyways, overall I am fairly satisfied with my purchase. In the future I may modify the weight and buttons. Playasia was nice to work with. The shipping was pretty fast for being overseas
