The Game That is Assassins Creed 2
As I waited for this to come in the post, I replayed AC1. That was an awesome game. Not is. WAS. See, AC1 was a concept of an idea. And, like all concept games, it was a little repetitive.
AC2 on the other hand is a fresh experience. The missions are less boring, and there is always something to do. The collectables, from the 'Truth' glyphs to the Feathers to the Codex pages are all worth getting.
The 'Truth' collectibles are, in particular, very worth getting, as getting each one ads to the mythology of the AC universe. The same can be said about the Codex pages.
The game-play has been improved so much as well, from the smother climbing to the simple fact you can now swim, it is all so much better.
The only con I really have with AC2 is its copy protection system. It is a simple player game, and you always need a net connection to play. Not the best idea in the world. Lucky for me, my net only dropped once while I was playing, so it did not effect me too much.
